  • what's christina millian doing at the grammy's?

  • 2:04 Like a Boss!

  • @MisterYankou Thank you. My thoughts exactly. Hip hop, hip pop, hip schmop - it's all music and it's all up to your personal musical tastes.

  • @Chiplinked @mrisor892 ...could you guys just stop? I'm with you both to some extent, one way or another, but it's just music. Gawd.

  • @MisterYankou yeah, you right mate, but i will defend my opinion when attacked by idiots who cannot accept it

  • Weezy shoulda won

  • "i guess we'll never know" that shit was cold son!!! Ye walked of lika BOSS

  • The realest.

  • best part = whole video

    Best diss = 1:48

  • this was when the grammy was the shit now it ain't piss

  • His ego is inspiring, lmao, seriously.

  • It's kinda funny this was in 2005 and kanye was so happy to win that grammy but now in 2012 he doesn't even bother to even show up lol

  • @lawquiet314 He's is probably too busy making new music for his GOOD music album, his next solo album, a potential watch the throne sequel and producing for other musicians to go to an event that overlooked him in some of the main categories and decided that Rihanna and Bruno Mars were more deserving of an album of the year nomination and also did not televise the rap album of the year being awarded yet televised every other major album category.

  • That's one of the realest niggas.

  • i saw kobe

  • Grammy family

  • check out my channel fam...its not white on white like ol boys outfit, but its got some color toit.

  • wow, bullllllshittttttt, worst actor ever

  • "I guess we'll never know."

    That shit kray.

  • @GangstaSkills05 You do realize "That Kray" thing is a myth. It was made up by someone on tumblr. Stop using it.

  • @sambam2694 what? I'm quoting Niggas in Paris... lol, how is that a myth?

  • @GangstaSkills05 No, I was talking about spelling cray with an "K".

  • That's how a true G does it. Respect!!!

  • its crazy i heard in some interview that kanye got in the car crash after a bad night in the studio with luda and dj whoo before his album was even being working on and a year or so later luda handing him a trophy for best rap album....

  • A SPEECH GOT A FUCKING OVATION THAT SAYS IT ALL

  • respect

  • WHAT. A. FUCKING. BOSS.

  • “..Everybody wanted to know what I would do if I didn’t win… I guess we’ll never know” Fucking greatness

  • Goosebumps.

  • you know when a black guy is doing well when you see him in all white :)

  • ball so hard...

  • I don't understand why some people are so fucking disrespectful to Kanye West just because he's the only rapper with the most Grammys. Y'all illiterate fucks listen to some weak ass rappers that really don't even give a single fuck about y'all and they only care about their music. It's time to show real respect to Kanye West.

  • THIS THAT YEEZY WE ALL LOVE!

  • the best speech of kanye

  • What a fucking speech.

  • Outside of OutKast and maybe, The Roots, I just can't see anyone touching this man's discography. 5 game changing distinctive albums, 3 of which considered hip hop classics. A key factor on the direction that rap has taken in recent years. 14 Grammys. Only 7 years.

I know he's already a critical darling but I don't think people in general understand how important he is to the game right now & to the culture as a whole and to be honest, I don't think it'll be fully realized for years to come...

  • @TechFiend44

I can name 2 people.. Dr. Dre and Eminem.. and if you argue against it you are just plain retarded.. kanye rocks though, not hatin at all!

  • @TechFiend44 And Jay-Z but yeah I completely agree.

  • you cant relate to what im trying to say so dont bother you fucking retard goat blower, fuck off

  • Tarantino even knows Kanye is a bad motherfucker. 2:13

  • Greatest Grammy speech EVER!!!

  • Huh

  • @mrisor892 Yes

  • booooooossssssss

  • Handled it like a boss.

  • kanye west is a fucking dickhead and anyone who says hes hip hop is deluded and naive, he churns out 'popfriendly' bullshit so that gullible wannabee cool idiots can say they 'feelin' hip hop. YOU FUCKING IDIOTS DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT HIP HOP IS!!

  • @mrisor892 Because obviously Kanye isn't respected by everyone in Hip-Hop. He is Hip-Hop deal with it. I bet you listen to JMT and Immortal Technique.

  • @SloppyAsShit BA-DOING! wrong again dude, kanye west may have started off hip hop, but somewhere along the way he became an industry whore, so now hes just a businessman churnin out pop friendly junk that is palatable to people like you who THINK hes hip hop, a classic misinterpretation on your part. ive been around hip hop since 83 so i KNOW what im talkin about man, he relies on your mindset to line his pockets FACT. sorry mate, i tell it like it is, thats all. PEACE IN THA MIDDLE EAST Y'ALL!!

  • @mrisor892 Lol, you sound like one of those music snobs. Are you saying MBDTF wasn't a Hip-Hop album? Music and genres evolve. Sure it isn't the same as Hip-Hop from the 80's but it is Hip-Hop. You just sound like a salty old man tbh, just upset that things aren't like they were with Afrika Bambata.

  • @SloppyAsShit ouch! that almost hurt, good comment tho bro and no, i dont think that at all but i do dress like bambatta on weekends. I just think that true hip hop should have that magic formula of hook, loop and lyric without all the bling ting attached. true hip hop is like graffiti, its the art of fighting without fighting. but evolution has turned it into a hippo in a tutu wearin high heels just for the masses who dont know the roots, make sense?

  • @mrisor892 In other words, you're trying to relate hip hop to a culture, but it is still a culture of the past. An idea of the past. Only you can't see that.

  • @mauriciolinks1 hiphop IS a culture, its not a music, its a movement and it encompasses rap, deejaying, breakin and graffiti but you didnt know that did you fucking dickhead. only when you have mastered all forms can you say that you are a true b-boy, but you didnt know that either did you retard mong, so dont come on here making a lame attempt at being clever when you know fuck all cos HIP HOP IS A CULTURE, well done you thick cunt, i already made my point b4 so go do youre homework stupid twat

  • @mauriciolinks1 oh yeah, how can something be a culture or idea be a thing of the past when it still exists? hiphop is one of the biggest things on this planet when you consider how many rappers, deejays, breakers, streetdancers and graffiti artists there are around the globe and ALL aspects are about fighting without fighting, and a mutual respect for the next manz skillz and love for the culture. you cant feel what you havent touched so your head is unplugged, jeez man, you a dumb motherfucker

  • @mrisor892 hahaha you poor thing

  • @mauriciolinks1 pathetic monkey rapist.

  • @mrisor892 Listen to My Beautfiul Dark Twisted Fantasy. Its one of the most musically mature and masterful albums of the 2000 decade - a commercial and critical success. I'd consider that good hip-hop.

  • @Chiplinked bullshit! its watered down hip POP, and your certainly right about the twisted fantasy, summed your comment to a tee my dark twisted rectum, ciao baby.

  • @mrisor892 there are elements of hip pop on there for sure (All of the Lights), but that doesn't make the album bad hip hop WHATSOEVER. Have you even listened to the album start to finish? I bet you live in a little bubble of hatred against Kanye where you have a hard time accepting any positive truth about him. Sad, you're missing out on some good music, man.

I'm confused about your comment on your 'twisted rectum'.

  • @Chiplinked wrong again man, trust me buddy i KNOW exactly what i'm talkin about and it aint got nothin to do with any 'bubbles of hatred either', thanx for the psycho analysis anyway butthead. ive been around hip hop since 83 and ive watched it get monopolized and heavily diluted, what YOU consider hip hop, is just commercial hip pop, you just dont get it at all do you.....

  • @mrisor892 It seems like you avoided my question of weather or not you actually listened to the album. LISTEN TO IT. Its different. I don't think Kanye is that great of an MC, but his album is a masterpiece and he does a solid job overall with his rapping. I completely agree hip-hop has been commercialized; that's what happens in the music industry. That doesn't mean some hip-'pop' is bad- Eminem is a perfect example of this. Please define what real hip hop is then if you insist on it so much.

  • @Chiplinked looks like theres little point in trying to argue with you, your obviously infatuated and brainwashed but let me tell you again, kanye west manufactures hip pop that is tailored to suit 'the market' it happens to them all eventually. look at eminem for example, listen to his first album then his last and check out the difference in the two, this metamorphosis is because of the stripping back and rebuilding of the music, to make the label more money by making it 'society friendly'

  • @Chiplinked gone are the NWA days, where a label thrives and rides the waves of controversy, now its all about tinsel-bling pop r&b bollocks that is slowly killing the hip hop that we know, but you dont. when you take away what a hip hop mc is all about, you take away their credibility in the eyes of the culture they were supposed to represent. what you are left with is something that loosely resembles hip hop, but sadly, falls a long way short. enjoy your hip pop and walkin with a fake limp.

  • @mrisor892 No, its pointless to argue with me cause you have no objectivity in your argument. What makes me ''infatuated'' and 'brainwashed'? Explain that to me - while ALSO considering the fact that I have heard old school hip-hop as well. But seriously? your arguing real hip-hop is based off their "controversy"? That's idiotic.

  • @Chiplinked your argument is a fucking joke, the fact that you wrote all this pointless bullshit confirms you are off your noggin. check out ALL the forums for HELP SAVE HIP HOP to see my point. the fact that you thought i meant hio hop is based of controversy proves you missed my point by a country mile you fucking dickhead, i was merely showing you how the industry is opportunist in different ways but you too fucking jammed up your own arse to see that you fucking div.

  • @mrisor892 I take this as your defeat in the argument since you obviously ignored everything I stated. Congratulations on displays of ad hominems and poor argument rebuttle, content, and structure. Have a good day, bro

  • @Chiplinked i never bothered readin the rest of this bullshit, pointless. now go get raped by your idol kanyefuckinworst. fucking knobhead.

  • @mrisor892 Logic hurts those in denial. I would do the same thing if I was in your position bro. (not tryna be a dick, Im just objectively sympathizing)

  • @Chiplinked you talk absolute shit you divvy cunt, you aint defeatin no one with your twatty outbursts, and it is YOU that is in denial and you dont have to try and be a dick, you are already one. commercial hip hop is not hip hop, its pop formed so that cunts without a clue like you can turn your hat sideways and claim to be 'down', you just made me roar with laughter so hard i gotta six pack, now fuck off and wipeyour nose you snotty nosed little shit cunt, have a nice life dickwad.

  • @mrisor892 REAL hip-hop is about the lyricism, the technicality, the flow, the emotion put in, the wordplay, the subject material, etc. and that IS evident in SOME mainstream rap (though there isn't many of them, I'll admit that, I dont like all mainstream rap... like Young Jeezy, T. Pain, etc. get that outta here. Just the top ones: Em, Kanye, Jigga, Wayne).

  • @mrisor892 Genres change with the times; of course the centrality of rap will change. Rappers should represent the culture of the time they live in. Respect to NWA. I dabble with Biggie, Pac, Dmc, Public Enemy, because I am a fan of all hip-hop from modern top mainstream rap to old school to underground hip-hop. Kanye does market his music for commercial gain, I agree with that, but I guess you were too clouded and ignorant to read all of my post. He aims for commercial success, yes, but ALSO

  • @mrisor892 for critical gain and respect as well (far and away the most critically acclaimed album of 2010 as well one of the most for the ENTIRE decade). Critics dont just HAND out such positive reviews willy nilly; they have strict taste because they've listened to the history of music. That's how much Kanye's new album STANDS OUT to them. Kanye's rapping on that album excercises his "tinsel-bling" lifestyle and examines it poetically by drawing on themes of decadence, hedonism, racism,

  • @mrisor892 sexuality, ego mania, religion, and more to paint how much of an emotionally and psychologically disturbed individual he really is with introspection - couple that with extraordinary beats and production and you have a VERY high quality album. Listen to "Gorgeous", it will open your eyes... I geniounely pity you for not listening to MBDTF. Using Eminem is a poor example of a 'metamorphisis' you speak of because I have already listened to Infinite and Recovery is a far more technically

  • @mrisor892 sophisticated album in terms of rapping; Recovery Em opts for excessive clever wordplay and metaphor usage coupled with raw lyricism and rhyme, not to mention his mastery over flow and expansion of subject material as well - this is not seen on Infinite. Infinite is a stage where Em was still deciding his style as a rapper and he himself admitted that he was trying to style off of Nas. By expanding his comfort zone from raw storytelling and controversial subject material (circa MM:LP)

  • @mrisor892 he turned into an introspective dweller who expanded and mastered all techniques in hip-hop (Recovery). So even though Recovery may be considered "hip-pop" it was definiteley the key moment that crowned Em as one of hip-hop's kings. I will admit that "Infinite" the song is Em's most impressive display of rapping though, perhaps even the history of hip-hop.

  • @mrisor892 Also, get raped by my argument

  • WHAT A SPEECH, RESPECT

  • NOW WE KNOW XD

  • Are you happy now cry baby?

  • @kandinskyforfootball shut up hoe

  • @WestCoastCyco Just because you were forced to pick up the soap! Don't make me call Beanie Sigel now! XD What d'you think your boyfriend would've done if it were Beanie Sigel and not Taylor Swift? LOL

  • @kandinskyforfootball you was never shit, your mother shoulda swallowed you - Big L

  • @WestCoastCyco But instead your mother swallowed me! Don't talk to your father like that son! I'm gonna have get my belt.

  • ludacris was like "what did i tell you"

  • Got To be the Best Grammy Speech Ever...Period

  • This was a good speech. He deserved that.

  • man thats my hero

  • Love this guy!

  • even Quentin Tarantino likes kanye and ellen....kanye is a musical genius

  • blah blah blah mr.overly dramatic man. cocky mf. I miss successful humble people.

  • @nicewaves Why aren't you successful and humble then, if you're so cool?

  • @nicewaves what u talkin about everybods humble

  • I really expected him to say something like "Imma let myself finish..."

  • 2 people are YMCMB fans

  • Thats how you do it !!

  • @mrmillion94 and it should actually win album of the year :(

  • what accident?

  • @Whabbadabba his car accident. the song through the wire talks about it

  • Kanye was in a terrible car accident in October 2002 where he almost died. His jaw was broken in 3 places and in emergency surgery they had to put a metal plate in his chin. When he was in his hospital bed, with his mouth wired shut, he heard Chaka Khan's song "Through The Fire" playing in the background on a CD player. He was just lying back, then he heard her voice melodically singing the line, "Right down to the wire, even through the fire." That's when he got the idea of recording the song

  • I love you Yeezy!!!!!

  • ayo grammys, ima let u finish, but MBDTF was the best hip hop album of all year!

  • @frakjrich23 this time it really would be appropriate to interrupt the show because of MBDTF! i would totally understand it if he'll interrupts the show! but it would be lame because he already did that in past

  • He speaks the truth all time

  • watch the throne

  • Kanye better get some speeches ready for the 2012 grammys. He is a lock for the Rap Album of the Year, and I believe a sleeper for the Album of the Year. Most people are already giving adele the AOTY award, but I think Kanye can pull of the upset.

  • @jayjayjj718 I heard they kicked him off album of the year.

  • @WREQUIEM

More like robbed out of the AOTY nomination. Anyway Kanye blame himself for the snub. He release two albums in the same year and they ended up cancelling each other out.

  • @jayjayjj718 MBDTF came out before last years. I remeber last years and wondered why he wasn't album of the year. Even if I'm wrong MBDTF came out quite a while ago before wtt

  • Comment removed

  • Thats my hero

  • last line is brilliance

  • Is that Quentin Tarantino cheering for Ye at 2:16?! O_O

  • @rockleex hahah yeh lol , Quentin's like ... " damn, i gotta get my arrogance to his level" love both of em

  • love this dude right here

  • down in history as one of the biggest douches in hip hop history and the South Park episode depicted exactly, perfectly who and what he really is.

  • @glasspig ehhh no your just one of them haters. whats bad about someone having dreams of being like the beatles, being great?

he's jsut natural and honest if you ask me. all the other people cant even admit, that they like their own album... i mean why did they even do it then. in my opinion Kanye is one of the most loveable people on earth, because he is so near eventhough hes a star... he makes the same mistakes when hes drunk like we do!

  • @LeeTheShogun

the beatles were not a gimmick as soon as a few years pass, and the next gimmick surfaces, nobody will be listening to kanye.

and people that use the word "hater" are people that can't come up with anything creative to say.

  • @glasspig well i think its you who doesnt come up with something new!

and i dont like this idea of yours... i find it sad, that you dont like someone who has dreams of becoming the next elvis or as popular as the beatles. i think its just kanye's way of pushing himself to another level. like he said in some acceptance speach! you gotta have courage and push yourself and the others otherwise there will never be such great music as the beatles' again. How sad would that be?

  • @LeeTheShogun

you said like the most generic description ever

  • Now you're wondering how hard he partied and popped champagne...I guess you'll never know.

  • SWAG at the end

  • He deserves the grammy go WEST!

  • Back when Christina Millian was allowed into the Grammys

  • @DroidBeetleBatallion Why ? is she not allowed now ? pleas someone answer me asap

  • @00hammad I just mean that she doesn't make music anymore so they don't invite her

  • pffff, whatever i say i wont be able to describe how great Kanye is, im a fan for life thats all i can say.

  • Kanye G that so decent at the end

  • back when he wore white suits and was with jesus..

now hes on the red suits but kanye still is killing the fucking game!!

  • his FIRST album won a grammy. thats fucking amazing. the name Kanye West will go down in history.

  • If he deserves album of the year at the grammys. Real shit.

  • Yo kanye ima let u finish but ...

  • Fucking. Boss.

  • "Nothing in life is promised except death"

  • he is one emotional guy

  • I guess we'll never know.

  • Kanye da gawd

  • @redstar999 your fucking retarded

  • Quentin Tarantino at 2:15 !!!!

  • was that kevin bacon

  • Awww, He was soooo happyyyyy!!!

  • college dropout was insane

  • I hope he will win a Grammy for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

And NOT Lil Wayne, Drake or other stupid kids.

  • I hope he racks in some Grammy's for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy because that was a legit CD

  • I watch this video everyday to remind myself to enjoy my moments in life.

  • Okay thank you. My English is not the best. :)

  • he better win sumthin at the vmas this year

  • PLEASE, can anyone write to me what he says on 2:04?

  • @BornInTheUsa2 I guess well never know?

  • @BornInTheUsa2

    "i guess we'll never know"

  • rip pac and big

  • Kanye West Keeps getting better!!!

  • People mistake that for arrogance and egotistic. That right there is pride, confidence, creativity, and genius all in one. And they're just jealous that they can't be as great as Kanye West.

  • @Moviewxpert ever seen a south park episode called "fishsticks"?

  • @medion12ify You ever did something as successful as Kanye West? Probably not.

  • @Moviewxpert success doesn't mean you have to be a dick about most things

  • @medion12ify He's not being a dick about it, if you took the time to understand him, you would know how his mind works, like he said in an interview. It's like how you meet someone for the first time and you think he's weird or an asshole or whatever, until you get to know him then you realize that he's not really that bad. You can either judge him without knowing anything orr you can try to understand him. He doesn't expect people to understand him as long as he understands himself.

  • @Moviewxpert and he is just a human being, and the taylor swift incident everybody talks about he was such a jackass... i dont think he is one, he is just himself and he makes mistakes as everybody does all of us! he is such a great person and genius in my opinion

  • @middleman986 he is, if you think about the quality of he's albums and the great production on his and others albums. He has surpassed dre and is can be held in the same breath as tupac
