why is everyone arguing about the flag. I think its a stupid thing to argue about. Of course Northern Ireland is going to be represented by the Northern Ireland flag :P this is the commonwealth games. All the countries and regions of the British Commonwealth of nations compete its supposed to bring people together.

It's "Londonderry Air", which is popular throughout Ireland.

If he, his friend and family objected to it that much, he wouldn't have taken part in the Commonwealth games.
