According to his biography, Jobs said he wants to destroy android. If Apple succeeds in "destroying" android and monopolizes the touchscreen smartphone market, apple computer may win but everyone else(including apple fanboys) will lose. As they will have no competitors, apple will lose the incentive to innovate as much and as quickly as they could, and they will raise prices and limit supply. It's simple economics. Apple fanboys should hope that android survives or apple will rot.

It doesn't make sense to make a higher resolution screen. The human eye can only see detail to what the retina display provides. So making a screen a higher resolution is not benefiting us at all its just making the product more expensive.

I found the reason my 4S battery was dying rapidly was because the location service of the reminders app stayed on for hours... After I disabled it in the settings menu I have gotten up to 12-13 hours of battery life. Hasn't died on me since
