  • Just an awesome video for something that I had been wondering about. All the videos showing how to recreate a tracked scene, and showing awesome 3d makeup, but this shows it perfectly. Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to share this.

    Regarding your problem with the Image-import with alpha: This is easy.

    Go to preferences > Add ons > import Export > and activate "import images as planes". Now you can import images without problems.

    However, your solution with the mask is much nicer, thanks!

    Your tutorial is the best version I have seen for blenders 2d tracking. I have tracking to figure it out for two month with no prevail. Now my 2d architectural matte paintings can all be tracked in blender and composited.
