  • OMG i had those Archie records!

  • we all thought being a hippie was totally cool then. they never told us it included homelessness, drug addiction and venereal disease.

the weirdest part of it though, this ad, is all these kids are now 50 years old or just short of 50. some of them are grandparents!

  • dirty hippies!

  • I was totally born in the wrong decade!... =( That commercial made me instantly jealous.

Am I tripping out or did the little kid's (2nd from the right) pants fall down during the back flip towards the end?

  • Look at all the hippy kids! Like wow, man!

  • yugh i hate honey comb :P

  • catchin' up on fun fun. one of my favorite songs on the album.

  • HAHAHA....

The little negro looks like Obama!

  • ((LOL)) man your funny-- TRUE MAN___ HEE HEEE

  • who says negro? you fuckin twerp. get a life.. your funny game is too obvious... hate sucks.

  • Wow, that was wonderful! :)

  • I remember fighting over who was going to keep it...like we had more than one record player anyway

  • sad. what year is this from?

  • 1967

  • Nope. 1969.

  • I used to tape it down on the turntable.

  • I remember this! Yeah, the records were noizy. Had to put a coin on the record and on the tonearm to make the nedle track and the record not slip. IF you can find on these days even cut out of the box you will spend a pretty penny for it. Really cool! Thankx

  • Oh dear, I remember this.

  • First thing I did was cut the record off the box. Then the Honeycomb would get stale so I didn't eat it. Then I would put the record on my brother's expensive stereo, the needle would break and then he'd come home and kick my ass! Thanks, Archies. P.S. I like the Arte Johnson Laugh-in Impersonator in the middle!

  • it was a rip...those records never played right

  • lol I remember those things..I remember they also had Monkees, and Jackson 5 too. When you played them you got 90% noise and 10% music :)

  • It made me want to go out and get some Honey Combs!
