Do you ever feel frustrated with people when you go out with Caplin and they ask all the questions? I bet that every people who sees Caplin wonders what is he (or is he a girl?) and some come to ask questions. And kids want to touch him.
@daRaxama I wouldn't say I feel frustrated. We give out cards that no one ever reads before asking questions but that's just to be expected. Part of why I take him out is to show people that such an animal even exists. About 95% of people have never heard of a capybara. So education is one of our goals and answering questions is a natural part of that. We always let everyone pet him. He is very gentle when we are out and about.

@caplincapybara Ahh thats nice. I would love one too but i think that they don't let to keep any in Finland. And they are not easy to keep.

lol capybara = baby deer? does not compute. but anywho. I plan on getting a capybara when I'm much older and have time to spend with one.

the baby donkey was so cute. mama wasn't so nice lol. poor caplin looked quite surprised when the donkey didn't like him!
