That's horrible... I have stood in that very spot... I cried so hard. =[ It's just so surprising, knowing that these things can easily happen to your favorite places. (I'm not too attached to the driveway itself, but still.^^) Great job capturing it.

ridge runner ya dants a otter I used to work this place back in the 1970-s and saw many of them , the wall the otters was on is appro 2feet wide (wall is acually top op bridge ) so you can get a ideal on how big this kritter is. probaly had a den off little one uder the bridge. to small for a mink., although they are there also one year beaver in pond , Wis. river is about 1/4 mile north of this damsite.
