This is silly, and I'd imagine that the poster knows it. But, in case anyone who stunned across this video is really interested...

- Akau is not an atoll itself, it is an island within Johnston Atoll (one of four; one of two which are completely man-made.)

- The dark areas in the water were navigation channels and turning basins for ships and submarines. Coral was dredged from these areas, ground up, and used to enlarge the natural islands and build the man-made ones.

Those big circles you see at the end of this video are primarely UFOs, or "USOs" (Unidentified Submerged Objects). You can watch a tv show on YouTube by searching UFO Hunters Underwater Area 51 to learn more about them.

those round objects in the ocean are concrete platforms used in the 60's for photo and video cameras. when they used to launch test missiles from johnston atoll to bikini and anewetok islands. they would take video and photos of the missiles launches. i think it was the department of defenses or department of nuclear agency
