Hello Hurricane has to be my Favorite album. I have all of their albums and this is my favorite. I absolutly love "Enough To Let Me Go", "Needle and Haystack Life", and "Hello Hurrican". I can't wait for the Vice Verses album!! I heard it isn't coming out till like December 28, 2010 though. =(

@kazuss I dunno, I really liked their early stuff as well. One of the great things about SF is that they are NOT one of those bands that you have to turn a blind eye to their sucky early stuff before they had good producers. They have always made phenomenal music.

Hmm . . . musically this album is a little flat compared to Oh Gravity (which IMO was their best work ever). Lyrically, this album is amazing (In many respects this is a groundbreaking in how they cover topics such as devotion, freedom, and God's faithfulness). I would trade every "Nothing is Sound" album every made for one "Hello Hurricane." I don't think this is like any switchfoot album we've heard before. Honestly I think that is good. =)

Nothing is Sound is my personal fave from them, I just loved that post-grunge grind to it, which is what I like about this song too. I really like this album so far though. They've really evolved in sound, but they actually sound good in their evolution. VERY good.

That guitar is an Epiphone Wilshire. They were made decades ago, but the company just released a couple reissues. That one looks vintage. As far as the amp, I saw an orange in the background but I don't think he was using it...

Also interesting is that Jon looks like he's using a Danelectro guitar for most of the video, but at 1:39 he's shown using the red PRS behind him. Pretty good editing.
