@9rmetal Only Homecoming was made in America. Climax US initially developed 0rigins, which in their hands was a Resident Evil 4 clone. It was handed to the UK branch at the last minute, which turned that rubbish into a very good game (not great, but understandable considering the constraints placed on them). They then went on to fully develop Shattered Memories, which I personally loved, but I can understand why many others wouldn't. SH Downpour is being developed in the Czech Republic, by Vatra

Silent Hill was brilliant. Now that Shattered Memories has come out, it's crap. The game play is all right but now they've made the world icy instead of firey and stuff. I will never forget the older games or trade in SH 2

Akira used an ESP Humbucker Strat for the recording of SH2, but kept using his UV777 since SH3 (already used it for recording Angels Thanatos from SH2). Ampwise he used JCM800s for a long time, but recently felt for a AC30.

I've watched Mr Yamaoka play live and in the studio a lot and giving interviews and even met him once and briefly talked about it. BTW, in the TGS2009 show he played a Jackson Dinky, so maybe he changed again. Hope that this guy will think twice about abandoning the SH franchise.

Ha ha, yeah. But it's not his fault, it's Akira's. He's even posted on Konami's blog that he's not a live performer (2007). He rocks as a studio musician but for the rest he... well as a friend of him I keep that to myself. Akira is a genious and as a studio musician and as a composer he is totally outstanding. But I don't think he will perform on again on Play! Believe me.

Akira is by far one of the best composers I've come across. I find his works very interesting, and I agree, SH would be nothing without him. It's what got me into Akira's works in the first place. I find him very creative in the music he makes, and hope to hear more of his work in the future.
