The reason American food is colorful is to grab children's attention. It is how the food marketing is done and parents end up buying colorful food because it soothes and excites the children. A favorite cereal that I have eaten in America is Captain Crunch Peanut Butter flavor. It is a tan color but very flavorful.

Airheads are on the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to candy. It's basically hallowen candy and a low budget cheap version of laffy taffy.

What you guys ate is not really considered "American" food. It was basically junk food. People stop eating poptarts at age 12.

American food is sugar and deep-fried junk. Take fruit loops f.e: chemicals and sugar. No nutritional value. It's like soda=disgusting. Americans love to feed their kids TRASH.
