yeah but you can't ride a scooter through the fire trails and national park , and on footpaths with people on the grand pde botany bay ,and scooters are for girls.
your right i believe my frame is the Element 20.5 '' 2005 model i think , i have just put on Boxxer 203mm shox and a 24'' rear wheel , i am very happy with this bike , any questions answered , and top speed around 70km as i am only 60kg , Jude. and this bike is tops on the rough stuff as i have flipped it trying to climb fire trails , sick fun.

Nice ! Couple questions? Want to build a full suspension and trying to find what frames will work. You have obviously been down this road. The only possibilities I have found is the GT LTS and now your awesome Rocky Mountain. Does the engine fitting require the Rocky Mountain frame to no 21.5
or will a 20.5 work? What model and year is your Bike? Any issues with the build you could share would be most appreciated?
i have a rocky mountain full suspension 21.5'' frame hard to find , the engines from rock solid come in stages , stage 1 = delorto carb + engine porting , stage 2 = delorto carb + high compression head , though i ground my stock head to give more compression , cheers mate .

its amazing the difference in power from the standard to the rocksolid engine , but if money wasnt an issue we wouldn't be building these , my next engine will be the stage 2 cheers .
I'm just wondering how much better are the rock solid engines compared to the cheap china rubbish? I'm thinking about ditching my piece of crap for a rocksolid.....Just the normal one since the stg1/2 will break the budget.
Wow. thankyou for your prompt response! I have since tried this and am impressed! It seems to just make sense now lol. I live in Perth, WA. To be more specific quite close to carousel. What state are you in?
Ohh I thaught they were hydraulic. personally I like the cable ones better cause I feel theyre more reliable. Whethere or not they actually are I really dont know. I just have shimano discs + calipers.
I think at some stage I'll get a new username and do some videos. Ride safe!
Hi there, I need your advice please. I am actually building mine literally right now. I want to say you have done it! The best of the best. The only thing different on mine is I dont have hydraulic disc brakes nor do I have the rear fox shock. I'm unfortuanately using a Giant hard tail with front shock.
Anyway my questions are: Have you put your shifter on the left hand side?
How do you find the dual pull brake lever? Does it still go alright?
@msconfigexe yes my shifter is on the left , so much better to change gears with , just wondering where you live as i would like to see your bike , and my brakes are cable disks , BB 5 disk brakes from ebay.
just finished my first motorized bicycle. my goal is to one day have a motorized mountain bike as beautiful as yours. w/ shifter kit, disk brakes, full suspension and everything.
Electric would of been the better option, i say this because people use gas way to much "its not an unlimited resource" we need to cut down on gas/oil use.
@Andrewmw17 yeah 1.5 liters/100kms thats $2.00/100 kms, is not bad , electricity still burns coal , i will work out how much electric bike is to charge and run , there will be stuff all difference , and i dont have to wait and charge .
what you need is , SHIFTKIT from SICKBIKEPARTSUSA $149.00 + 41.00 DELIVERY highly recommended , my rear hub is a MEGA RANGE 11 -34 TOOTH 8 SPEED , good luck buddy
That is an amazing piece of engineering my friend. I live in America and have never seen a more complete rugged racing machine. You should patent your design and sell a few million in the states. My American brothers would love this, so would my younger brother who is into mountain bikes. Clean, Brilliant Design, Rugged and extremely well thought out. My Hat is off to you, Mate- TEN STARS********** RH DSD
thankyou have not had so many good words said Cheers mate you know your bikes , it did take me 3 months to find that frame , but love your idear , this has cost around 1,700 au , thanks again buddy any questions please ask , very happy to help someone like you , Jude from Australia.
@MRsageprductions Okay 11 STARS. That would be great to see one of those, built that well on the streets of America. Everyone would stop and want to really get a close up of that genius little contraption, Mate. A bunch of people would love to buy something like that in the states but they will not allow them to be sold here- We have a bunch of Total Bullshit Regulations. We can go obliterate another country, no problem= but we cant import a Damn MOped.....
Oh. And one more thing, when you mount it with the pipe going down like yours do you loose your kickstand? is there anyway to mount it going down like that but not loose the kickstand?
ha , your wright no stand on my bike , i'm not sure how to fix this problem , i always have to lean it against something though good luck mate , cheers.
haha nice one ! did you use silicone at the bottom of the barrel instead of the gasket ? and how much did you shave off the head ? i assume you just used wet and dry on a sheet of glass ? and how did you balance the crank ? also i can tell ya how to make a boost bottle if your interested, and you can get spark plugs from SBP that raise compression. NICE BIKE DUDE ! thats worth 5 * XD
thanks mate , u got it wet & dry on glass yes red heat silicon + both gaskets top & bottom , balanced crank on home-made jig with fishing line and drilled holes on heavy spots , engine will rev to 6.8000 on tacho under load not good for these chrome bores but if looked after they go well , cheers mate , Jude.
SORRY FORGOT HOW MUCH I TOOK OFF HEAD AND BLOCK ABOUT 1MM all up , enough to make it hard to start as i have the 9 tooth gear on shift kit more power from engine but harder to kick over by foot , thanks for high compression sparkplug mod but my engine wont last unless i stop doing mods , its cranken see ya mate.
owner of this video, please inbox me... i need to know a few things. thanks
