  • why wasn't this sang in German? Was it becuase they did not have the copy rights to sing it in German? back then? Or was it because the germans loved the english language so much?

  • @mikemcgee Ben Berlin Orchestra has recorded his tunes in German, English and French languages and they were spread and much loved in all around the world, including Japan, Argentina, US, Australia etc. Probably this version has recorded for English-language countries. I'm not aware, was from this tune also German version or not. Generally these Hungariab boys (The Two Jazzers) has recorded a lot of tunes in German.

  • I've just played it again, absolutely love it! If you haven't watched the Rudy Vallee cine film on youtube of this song it's well worth having a look.

  • One of my favourite songs, I like this better than the Rudy Vallee version. Thank you.

  • @Adamunda345 Indeed it is one of the best arrangements of this famous 1929-year song. Ben Berlin (Hermann Biek) was graduated in St Petersbourg Conservatory as a composer and he has always made such a work excellently! Addionally, I think it is one of the best arrangements of Ben Berlin at all!

  • The vocal part is performed by The Two Jazzers ( Lászlo Mocsányi and Tibor Lakos from Hungary).

  • Thank you very much for uploading this!
