Someone told me to drink black coffee and suck on hard candy. It did seem to help and you have to change your daily routine as far as where you expect to smoke. Eat lots of fruit and take walks. I feel if I could quit anyone could!!!

Bottom line the public pays for all political misfeasance. The money was too good to stop. How many had to die because of inaction?I quit in 1980 and I still crave them. I only tried about a million times before I finally did. I have 6 siblings that have not been as fortunate!

First of all, I agree that this legislation is BS.
That being said -- why haven't cig smokers grown the balls to defend people who favor alternative recreation (e.g. marijuana). I spent two hours a week ago arguing with a chain smoker as to why her recreational use of cigarettes was no more "moral" than the use of marijuana. Bullshit.
It doesn't matter -- sooner or later everyone who uses a substance other than alcohol (too much of a market) is going to be screwed.

I hate what the government is doing to tobacco companies. They are just the same as every other company in america, only a different product. At this point, they might as well just be shutting down the companies. And even though I don't personaly smoke, I think it's wrong what is happening to them, if people really didn't want to smoke, then we would not have all of these type of things.

How dangerous is tobacco, by itself? It's all the rat poison that they add to their "nicotine delivery devices" that makes them so fucking addictive. How many pipe smokers are dying of cancer? Before the white men came, were there droves and droves of American Indians dying of throat cancer? Lung cancer? How many pot smokers are dying of emphysema? By not regulating nicotine levels in cigarettes, they completely clipped the nuts off this bill, period.

It's also one of our only exports to China.
Yes, legalize pot. Pot is a $35 billion market while tobacco is just a $6 billion market. A lot more people smoke pot than tobacco, yet the tobacco smokers are going to pay for the cancer caused by pot.
