@DeathSetler T-95 will never happen. T-90AM is all they're making now. Also, T-72A would be crushed by an M-60A1 within minutes. Doesn't matter about gun size. The fact is, calibre. The typical 105mm L-57 would kill a T-72A within 3,200 meters or more. T-72B was the only model able to withstand that gun. Avanced fire control/optics make the M-60A1 superior in everyway to the T-72's early variants.

@Tyco200 t-95 is planned for future. t-90am is finished but its not revolution just modernisation. t-72a had much better protection than m60-a1 but m111 etc was better than bm-22 but it could penetrate only hull front (upper part). t-72m were low-tech alternative monkey model for export instead of t-64. Could bm-22 destroy a huge m-60 tank? it surely did, give to noob a tank and he will fuck up it very easely. So while t-72M1M can hit M1A2 from 5,5 km modernisation is very impotent for any war

@PeaceKeeper271 u even dont know what is the latest shell for 120mm its M829A3 Knontakt 5 could withstand A1, and A2. Relict was specailly created to oppose A3 version. Even old t-64 tank can launch rockets to hit tank in 5,5 km range. Abrams doesnt have active protection system and rockets to shoot. M1A3 is only a future project, Iraq Iran showed that it cannot withstand modern and future european and russian tanks. USA always opposed integrity in Europe, EU sooner or later will leave NATO

@DeathSetler .First of all I knew all about M829, read about it BEFORE posting.As far as I know,no Russian tank uses Relict at the present, not even the T90.You don't get my point do you. I was trying to say that with because of the improvements in latest APFSDS shells, there is a single rule left. He who fires first wins.

Secondly a shell strikes faster than a missile.

and Finally we all know how poor the Russian T72s and T80s performed in Chechnya and the T90 is based on the T72.

About the T90 you're right. It didn't fight in Chechnya it fought in Dagestan with impressive performance, but still they were only 8-12.

I tried same scenario against T72s in OF doesn't work that well. Tho i managed to win out by only 2 loses whit HEAT rounds splitting the battalion in three groups. Having main group assault from distance taking T72s head on while other two groups move in close up from rear and left. While they tried to shift fire i moved in my 1st group and finished them off. T72 is much stronger than M60A

M60 is superior to T-72.

Proven in Desert Storm: M60's fought T-72s (and other T-sereis) at Kuwait airport (which involved hundreds of tanks). Only 1 M60 lost but crew survived.

Also proven in Lebanon where M60s took out Syrian T-72s.

Main Battle Tank Iraq 1991 was a Type 69 and Type-QM 69 Enigma. in 2003, already large tank battles were not.

Insulting is a sign of weakness and knowing nothing of the subject.

Its well known 105mm can destroy T-72 and early T-80. This is why original Abrams had 105mm and they wanted to upgrade later. At the time this was more then enough to kill any Russian tank and you can carry more ammo, meaning the tank could kill more Russian tanks then if it had 120.

Only when the T-80U showed up (1985) a 120mm was needed.

105mm penetrated T-72s in Desert Storm and in the Israeli-Arab wars.

@NationalSniper not an insult to the diagnosis. In Israel, the ZDF channel in 1982, displayed the destroyed tanks, but not limited to the Syrian T-72, and mostly American-made Israeli tanks M60A1 but at the very fact Syria has lost only one tank t72. Checkmate!

Great video; alot of people do not give the M-60 credit but it was a workhorse and well-built tank; it proved pretty effective in the gulf war only losing 2 tanks in combat against t-72s. The A3's even had better rangefinders than the first generation Abrams tanks at the time but I digress :)

Typical T-62 couldn't fire beyond 2,800 meters. Israeli gunners picked them off with M60s/Shermans/Centurions at 3,000 to 3,500 meters. Also note the fact that the T-72 is inferior in optics, fire control, ammunition storage to the M-60. A lone M-60A1, alone, would kill about 4 T-72s beyond 3,000 meters with no problem. Dumbass.

now thats a man's game. a real simulator for warfare. good video. theres also arma2 and an expansion pack coming out this year. be sure to check that out. operation flashpoint is also nice but ill wait for the next one to come out if i were you cause operation flashpoint 2 was a bit buggy and disappointing. anyway its nice open-world sandbox gameplay, unlike the boring one-tracked call of duty games.
