Enrico, thanks for sending me this post I had never seen. Sure it's kitschy and for us who saw her in her super stardom in the 70's it's painful. BUT, Alonso and Nureyev did it also, remember when he went back to do La Sylphide at Kirov at 50. CARLA is a legend and I love the fact that she did this because people who never saw her got to see her live. Callas did the same in that last tour with Di Stefano. I didn't care how they sang... It was Callas and Di Stefano!!!
