A lot of people don't know this but After Truex left that team Bass Pro Shops said they wanted Bobby Labonte in the last year of there contract of 2010. Chip Ganassi basically said fuck you to Bass Pro Shops and said I'm going to put who I want in the car after your last year with us you can leave the team and he said he wanted to put Jamie McMurray in the year. A year later after he won the Daytona 500, Brickyard 400 Bass Pro Shops signed on for 2011. And Jamie Mac's hometown is in Missouri!

Crazy 2010 for him... He have no ride a month before Daytona, got #1 ride with his hometown sponsor, Bass Pro Shops, won Daytona 500, came 2nd in photo finish at Talladega, won Brickyard 400, find out that his wife is having a baby, won Charlotte 500, honor Dale Sr at Talladega, magic season end, his first child arrived. Best NASCAR Story ever :)

if jr didnt get loose on the backstretch going inbetween the biffle and bowyer, i really think he would have had a great run going coming out of 4. But....nobody deserves this more than jamie. Such an awesome driver but an even better person. It says a lot when you have tremendous driving ability...and your character outsines that. Being a fan of his since his first year in the 42 and seeing all the goods and bads..It feels like I won the Daytona 500 when i watched my favorite get something he has always deserved..Just hope this isn't the last win of the year.

there should be a pothole delay at every race if the finish is going to be THIS GOOD! lol. Jamie was loose as hell all weekend. i remember in the shootout seeing him dead ass sideways through three and four passing cars. i said to myself, if they tighten up that car just a little, it'll be a rocket! it makes me wonder if the 500 car was the same way and the night time conditions happened to tighten up the car just a little. either way. j-mac drove the wheels off that car and never gave an inch.

i don't think there's ever been so much emotion in a celebration since al unser jr in the 92 indy 500, Jamie is probably the most deserving driver out there and as a roush fan, it was awsome to see a former roush driver win how he did

I'm happy that runner up Earnhardt Jr help Jamie win the Daytona 500 this is the best win for Jamie in his Nascar career and Chip Canassi finally he get a Daytona 500 victory as a owner. I predict that Jamie will be the big surprise driver this Nascar 2010 season.
