this scene is very emotional because pippin is forced to sing this song for the steward, its really sad(and sickening) that he only cares about scarfing food down his throat even though he knows his son is riding to his death at that same moment, thats why this was such a memorable scene, but I guess you cant really see the details of whats happening in this short clip.

The last scene in Avatar where he became one of them (collective) was cool but did not give me goosebumps. Compare that to grey havens in Lord of the Rings and the gutwrenching bitter sweet ending where Frodo and Samwise parted... never mind the fact that epilgue was protracted the fans loved it.
