  • How will it be funny if he did it the way u are saying it

  • As good as this movie is, this scene is pretty silly. First off, I can't believe it takes John Cleese 2 full minutes to just ask Ken to WRITE DOWN the name of the hotel. That's the first thing I would've done once I learned he stuttered. Secondly, Ken ends up taking hi to the hotel anyway, so he didn't even really need to get the name of the hotel. Ken could've just gestured "follow me."

  • EPIC!

  • *stretches arms and vrooms like an airplane* :D Love it.

  • It'd be weird if he wrote "The ka...the kaa....the ka..." on the paper.

  • one of the most excellent movie comedy scenes ever.

  • Does anyone have this scene without the earthquake and the tittering in the background?

  • apparently Michael Palin's father stuttered, which is why he was able to portray stuttering so accurately (like how it got better when he talked to people he was comfortable with, like George and Wanda, and worse when he talked to people he was uncomfortable with, like Otto)

he was approached afterwards by many stutterers and commended for his accurate and sensitive performance
