  • fantastic organ, but need to hear it playing more dancehall organ music arranged in the dancehall organ style otherwise it sounds just like a Verbeeck!! (but ive read the posts, i know its not)

wonderfully designed facade in mortier style, cant wait to see the finished result when its decorated, will there be a proscenium for the top does anyone know?

also i hope it will have the metal church organ style pipes like on many dancehall organs to complete the effect!!!

  • wonderful .................

  • WOW De Rhapsody - great sounding organ!

  • @StuartMulcrow Yes it is`!

  • @johnnydraaiorgel11 Do you have any details of it, key size, maker? :-)

  • @StuartMulcrow No, Maby Tijsie92?

  • @StuartMulcrow

    Hey Stuart!

Martin Conrads made the organ. Most of the pipes that were used were old. It's a 125 MIDI operated organ.

  • @princeboudewijn Cheers Alberic. Hope to see more videos of it on here soon. Martin is a very talented guy indeed.

  • @princeboudewijn Don't forget Marco Breier, who did 85% of the job...

  • @Hiddovanos

Ofcourse Hiddo! Marco has done a great job! It's often that workers who work for an organbuilder arn't mentionned. This shouldn't be the case here!

  • De Rhapsody is een fantastisch orgel! Complimenten.

  • Good to finally hear the Rhapsody,it plays extremely well,i believe it's a Verbeeck,am i right?

  • @petermackett37 No, not at all.

  • @Thijsie92 Who has built it and how many key is it Thijsie? It's a great sounding instrument.

  • @StuartMulcrow It was built in the workshop of Martin Conrads, and it is a 128 key MIDI organ. I believe it has not yet reached its full disposition, and as you can see it isn't entirely finished just yet. Still, it is already quite impressive in its current state, especially when it is playing the correct (dance organ) music!

  • @Thijsie92 Thanks very much for the info.
