There are so many people who support progressively bigger and more powerful government and then are surprised and outraged when that bigger and more powerful government comes after them. People need to wake up to the nature and danger of powerful central government.
Now we need to fight against ACTA and demand why it was signed in secret for "National Security Interest" by OBAMA. ACTA IS WORSE THEN SOPA OR PIPA AND MAKES ISP LOG EVERYTHING YOU DO. So how do you think the costs of healthcare should be solved? It certainly is not going well right now. We force ppl to get auto-insurance, why not health insurance? We are already paying the bills of the uninsured & those who can't pay because all of their costs get shifted over to us who have insurance. Insurance companies want us to get health insurance but they'd rather not pay when something goes wrong. At least w/ govt regulation they're now forced to cover ppl w/ pre-existing conditions.
@Tregnier52 Didn't want to get off the subject, but thought I'd bring it up since you mentioned it in your video. I really do want to understand the opposing perspective.
@Tregnier52 I can appreciate your question! to give you a brief answer, I would say that healthcare should be a community, county, or private endeavor....I think having a CENTRALIZED system of healthcare works in the favor of a few monied interest. I saw let the cities do universal healthcare if they wish...or let churches, or communities form local governments to solve their problems....just more LIBERTY more freedom to choose!
its the corporations because they pay off the politicians we need to get the money out of the government and you have no idea what you are talking about because SOPA wasnt created with good intentions at all thats why when the republicans found out that porn sites would be ban they decided to make an exception for that they just hate it because of the new media that speaks facts and truth like dan brown TYT davidpakman show samseder

I think "marketable" is just a word for "quick sale" If something is good, serves a purpose, it will sell its self. I go and look for great products constantly. Like if I have a tool, that broke, and I cracked my knuckles, I go and research and look for a better brand, IE stronger tools.
So, if people are interested in the truth, they will naturally go toward philosophy. That's actually what happened to me. The long road that got me here, was the book rich dad poor dad by Robert Kiyosaki.
@MRSketch09 I was interested in bettering myself financially in life. And then that book introduced me to taxes, which made me start studying about taxes, about business, which lead me to politicians/politics unfortunately, and why they pass laws (Like you said, political tools basically) and then I read more books, mises org, then started wondering about currency.. and about road blocks small businesses face.. etc. This big twist of a road. Then I got slightly overwhelmed and depressed, lmao.
@MRSketch09 And then I stumbled across Stefbot, and then I think youtube recommended your channel.. and yeah, its amazing how philosophy fits in with the other things I original started studying.
@MRSketch09 That's an awesome journey! Wow...I love seeing how things fall into place like that! And yes...everything in today's world has to be marketable...simple and to dumb down what is real into something easily digestible without much thought =/
Aman I wish you were my brother...or part of my family. Our views are exactly alike from religion. to philosophy to ethics/morals to politcis and governments!!!!!
I just wish more people would stop being puppets and learn these things! And to the end, all I can say is, amen. Politicians will ALWAYS tell you the good intentions, so it's up to YOU to find the bad effects.

I think the government in general has completely good intentions... the corporations and the senators/house reps that they have in their pockets however...
I dont think the government does things with genuine good intentions, I think they feign good intentions and really have mischievous intent. Other than that good points and great video. Maybe im just too paranoid lol.
@jamezelle1 still, it doesn't matter. That's why it's up to us to take the milk bottle out our mouths and feed ourselves! Don't rely on Government to tell you what's right, WE have to do our own research.
@jamezelle1 hahaha, maybe a little paranoid, or maybe I'm naive! I do think that government is a bunch of smart morons who are simply acting in their interest, and I think the system in which their interest is pursued (is that grammatically correct? is/are?) is what shapes their mischievous outcomes. Well intended but ignorant but greedy
@Bromopar It was also said that NDAA didn't effect citizens and then when it came out that it did, Obama said he'd veto it, and then didn't. Don't celebrate so soon. This does not prevent them from waiting until enough people move on to just do it anyway, perhaps in different packaging.
@JaceJohanson I'm not going to assume that little progress is no progress at all. The politicians for once actually listened to the voice of the people. Now that they have been forced to go back to the drawing board we can all keep up the pressure that has been on them for so long. As long as we keep fighting right down to the wire there is hope. Yes it is time to celebrate but not time to back down and think all is well either.
@Bromopar Agreed. They used those tactics on NDAA to placate and combat public outcry and opposition to it. But, can people be outraged about a shelved-yet-still-dangerous pending legislation indefinitely? Some new action needs to be introduced to the equation to alter the variables, or they'll win that game of chicken. I guarantee that.
@JaceJohanson I agree it is a game of chicken but I doubt the legislation will remain unchanged. The real question now is what changes will be made should it come back and for that matter will it ever come back? However I have an even greater concern. Should it come back will the public even notice? They might try to hide it in other bills or re-name it to try and sneak it through the back door. During an election year we're for the most part safe but...
Intellectual Property rights is an invalid concept. It's an artificial barrier against real progress because a) the foundation of technological progress is in the specialization of labor b) research and development & manufacturing are different specs c) It seeks to constrain the market to focus on the last idea instead of the next idea, and progress stagnates d) it is fundamentally arrogant to say that you own an idea exclusively and no one is allowed to build upon it 'til you say so.
@JaceJohanson Why is it necessarily weird to say you own an idea? I mean, I get where you're coming from, I just want an elaboration. Ideas are more important, at least to me, than anything....they are what enables people to make the things that allow us to technologically progress.
@AmanJohnX You sort of answered your own question, in an indirect obscure manner. They allow technologies to be made, but IP demands that it be made only by the person who thought it up, even if someone else could make it better, cheaper, faster, etc..... an artificial barrier to entry. This is not to say that the collective owns the idea, either. Rather that, economically and morally, the best standards are corroded by using IP. I'm happy to keep explaining, but 400cha is to few.
more regulation, less competition and more oligopolies and/ or monopolies. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
@XtraXtraodinaire yea....I definitely see where you're coming from...I haven't gotten too philosophical about intellectual property yet. I've listened in on discussions though.
@UFOXERT TAA isn't that controversial to me to be honest, I love TJ, but his stuff doesn't hit deep enough....but yea...idk if I want to make this channel more marketable...I think to make things more marketable you have to sacrifice some...genuineness. I'm in the process of thinking if it's possible to not become a product and still be well known. And you're right about other viewers! lol =P
