Excellent Pictures of Harry and the Band. An old friend of mine LOVED this band in the 1930's. I always think that some bands were better at comedy than others Roy's was one of the best for novelty in my view. Lovely upload.

Right re. Brit dance bands. They were super. They could really swing. Discovered Brit bands some year ago and been a fan since. Look for Henry Hall for some great stuff and Ambrose too. And the arrangers especially who hardly ever got enough credit. If any, were brilliant. They cooked.
