  • depends what youre looking for. can you afford a rtb. can you house a rtb. can you handle a big snake or are you scared of them if you say no to any of these q's a red tail boa is not for you. sand boas are much smaller and eaiser to keep. dont get me wrong rtb's are amazing animals but if you cant support one dont bother getting it. even if its a baby. it will get big fast!!. i got one that was 21 inches in march and its already 36 and growing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HEY GUYS. I HAVE SOME GREAT VIDEOS OF MY SNAKES.all of you guys are invited to my channel!dont forget to sub me!- cha0z

  • In answer to Kel's question of the week: I have 1 child and I want more. I keep a lot of herps and it'd be hard not only money-wise but time-wise as well to have any more than 3 or 4.

Basically, "too many" is determined by many factors. Stupid people, should not have ANY kids. Income (WITHOUT WELFARE.. I don't wanna pay for MY kids PLUS YOURS!) and maturity are also key things to consider.

FOR MOST PEOPLE though anything over 3 is ridiculous and just a ploy to get attention or money.

  • my snake looks like tht corn snake

  • perfect amout of kids is none

  • how do you tell what kind of balls you have

  • feel them. they should feel nice if you like them hahahahahah lololololololol im sorry i just had to haha

  • lol that carpet was very inquisitive :)

  • I have absolutely no kids. But i say at most you should only have three. My mother had two, including me, and thats enough for her.

  • Wow good question i would say 1 tops forthe expierence and keep your blood line name going

  • The perfect amount of kids is ZERO! Lol

I think I'm gonna stick with snakes haha!

  • The less kids you have the less things you have to worry about.=D

  • kids amout 2 xd?

  • Whats the perfect amount of kids?

    None.

    :)

  • Comment removed

  • perfect amount of kids it depends there is no perfect personaly im only fifteen so i want no kids atm ssomeone may have alot of money so the have alot of kids but they may also work to much tto have alot of kids i think it depends on your financial situation and your mental and commitment state =)

  • fgf

  • well im a kid and i dont have kids but i think that the perfect number is 2 kids because thats awesome i ges

  • fuck you

  • hey i saw you on saturday wierdo

  • i heard that boa means bares offsring alive

  • not all boas do

  • thats just what i heard at a show i didnt say it was right what boas dont

  • Hello Brian and crew! let me start by saying that I am a big fan of the show; Chewy is the funniest and the best! I have a question for you guys. I just bought an albino red tail boa it is about 2' 9" long. She is eating 2 mice a week. I dust the mice with Repcal Herptivite Multivitamins. Is this beneficial or would it present a health risk to my boa. I read all about dusting crickets for lizards, amphibians, and turtles but what about vitamins for snakes???? Thanks and I love the show.

  • hey man i am a big fan and i want to a breder whow much does a breader make

  • Nice video! The whole Dorothy thing is pretty funny! I give the guy credit for wearing a dress..lol..As for Kel's question..I don't have kids yet but one day I might consider it, when I do I probably think the right amount for me would be 2, but again that's just my opinion. Alright, keep up the great work! Loving all your videos :0)

  • Hey Brian I have a question hope it doesn't take up to much of your time but im breeding my first ball pythons (Cinnamon x Normal) now one of my females shed while my male was in shed (past the blue eye stage of his shed) so I thought it would be ok to put him in with the female who had just shed do you think this was a good choice as well what temp should I keep the tank they are both together in. Brian, thanks for the answers to all my comments hopefully my next bp morph will come from BHB REP

  • clever

  • This species of snake is known for its longitudinal stripes, which look like a garter

    - wiki answers

    HOPE ITS RIGHT !!!

  • the name is something in latin

    all scientific names are latin

Ball Python= Python Regius reguis = Royal ( in latin )

so Ball python should be called Royal Pythons ( if u wish to be correct )

  • That super ball was cool. you should do a show all about hybrid snakes and what you can and cant breed together.

  • lol that ball python thing was funny

  • Brian, Thanks so much for doing the fieldherpforum for the shout out.

  • my worst bite was that b*** of a burmese python at your place! lol but it was still my favorite vacation!!!!

  • i realy want to have a ball python :)

reptile4u.smfforfree. com and get all the help on your reptiles you need

  • what would happen if u bred a ball python with a corn snake????

  • It would be wild looking if you could do it??? Not sure if it can be done?? Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • well if u breed a boa with a corn snake u get a bo-corn lol.

  • oh cool when im able to get one maybe my mom will let me get it from you guys.

  • Thanks:) Brian(Sbtv)

  • how much does the blood python/ball python hybrid cost? are they good snakes?

  • They are a little tempramental, and they go for about $1500. Not a great pet snake:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • @SnakeBytesTV how many grams does a pastel ball python have to be to be breed

  • @SnakeBytesTV Wow that's the first time I've seen you mention a snake that do not make good pets.

  • if I got a normal ball python from your web site how much would it be to ship it in the same state?

  • Shipping is normally about $50, if you're close enough you can pick it up for free. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • do u sell regular ball pythons and if so how much?

  • We sell babies for $40. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • I don't have any kids, but I think that for about 50 years, every couple should be allowed only one kid so that planet earth can recuperate her ecosystem and resources. After that, each couple should only be allowed 2 kids. You don't really need any more then that. Preferably a boy and a girl.

  • Not a bad idea. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Brian, I'm form brazil and i love your program, it is a mundial susses. I can't speak more because my english is too bad... thank you so much

  • Thanks for the support from Brazil! Brian(Sbtv)

  • i think u should have at least 2 or 3 kids

  • Two is perfect for me:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • none lol

  • I went to a reptile show a while back and the host said that the cornsnake was one of the best pet snakes to have is that true???

  • I agree with that. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • awesome videos!

my question is, even after watching the video about genetics, I wonder how the first mutations came along? pure luck? or are there some tricks for getting different colors on the babies? maybe something with the temperature during incubation...?

    keep posting!

    cheers from Brazil!

  • The first ones are just a freak of nature. Thanks for watching the show! Brian(Sbtv)

  • Just wondering, But what do you do with the sheds of the snakes? Do you throw them out or keep them?

  • We throw most of them out, but the good big ones we normally give away. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • How do you get leopard geckos to breed? Do they lay eggs?

  • They do lay eggs. They just breed when you put them together. really easy animals to work with. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • yo you guys are great, always have cool stuff, you guys taught me a lot about snakes before i decided to get one...Thanks

  • I'm so glad that we could help. Thanks for the support on the show! Brian(Sbtv)

  • i think 2 is probarly a decent amount of kids, but there would have to be at least a 3 or 4 year age gap between them

  • I think two is perfect too. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • ive got one kid right now, and im looking to have at least several more! 5 is always a good number, haha.

  • Holy cow, that's a lot:) Thanks for watching, Brian(Sbtv)

  • What is your favourite snake to breed? And snake to you enjoy the most breeding?( Most exciting )

    (Matt,ColdBlooded97)

  • kels question of the week : can snakes be homo?

  • Glad you like the show! Thanks for watching, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Ah! What happened to the video?

  • Still there, sometimes youtube will glitch, just reload and it comes back:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • lol

  • Anything more than a "kiddie litter" is too much! The human body isn't meant to produce so many children at one time. I have 2 boys, that's enough. BTW George looks sooo cute in a dress LOL!

  • Haha, he does look cute.lol Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey :) i am gonna get a western hog nose is it e-z to take care of (i looked it up but i want your opinion) thanks

  • Truthfully in my opinion people should only have 2 kids 1 to replace the mother and 1 to replace the father these people who have 3+ kids are the reason for over population.

  • We have two and I think it's perfect. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • 0000000000000000

  • The perfect amount of children in my opinion would be none or one. When you consider the overpopulation of humans on this planet, and the effects it has on our own as well as other creatures habitats, it makes sense.

I have one little 20 month old son, Chaos, in case you were curious. ;)

  • Thanks for the comment! Brian(Sbtv)

  • Response to Kel's question of the week " i belive the perfect ammount of children is 2 to 3 maximum. you have kids to give them a good life not to populate anymore. Kids need attention they can't get the right amount of attention if there are 7 other siblings.

  • i think the best number of kids would be 3 or 4. so that when i kids grow up and one of them needs help he gots he bro/sis

  • I can understand that. Thanks for watching, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey brian, i have a ball and a crtb

2 questions: my ball always has like air bubbles on his eyes does he have a retained eye cap?.

my boa has pink on his belly and on his sides and some on his upper mouth is anything wrong with him?

  • The Ball Python sounds like it has a respitory and the Boa could have some fungal problem?? I would have a vet check both of them out. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • r u comin to the expo in new york in april

  • I'll be there. Hope to see you then:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • i think 2 or 3 kids enough kids cuz kids tend to be a little expensive after a while and right now i have 1 7month old daughter mya and shes a handfull

  • Yeah, I agree there. More then two or three would be a lot of work:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • i'm too young to have kids

but i have to say me and younger brother are pretty easy to take care of. so i say 2 is perfect

  • I agree. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey i was wonderin if i could go to your location and buy snakes there

    great show guys

  • You can come visit us if you want. Just let me know, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Hi,do u have any super ball pythons 4 sale?

  • I hope to have some this summer. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Hey snakebytes is just gets better and better, you are the reptile community king, the people who keeps reptiles, you rule them, your the god of reptile community, great pets comes great responsibilities, thanks for helping

  • I appreciate you thinking so, but we just clean snake poop like everyone else:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • hey brian it was good to see you and lori at hamburg hope to see you again real soon. P.S. i posted a video comment of the show and our pic is in there

  • Good to see you there too! I'll check the vid out for sure. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • nice job on the disclaimers alot of ppl were bitching you guy witht the blender vid

  • Yeah, we are trying to make sure that doens't happen again. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Great Video Brien, Where are Carpet Pythons from? Do they happen to live in the "carpet" part of jungles?

  • Glad you liked it:) They are from Australia, maybe from the carpet part:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Awesome episode!

I think that you should be able to provide for the kids from fetus to college and give them the love and attention that they need.

  • Thanks for liking it and I couldn't agree with you more on the kids. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Great episode this time, probably the best you've done. Education with a tad of humour, always hits the mark!!

Kel, i have one child.........i think i good number is two!

  • I have two and I think it's perfect. Glad you liked it, we're gooing to try to keep a format like this. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • VERY CREATIVE

  • Glad you liked it:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • is it true that if you have 2 ball pythons living together then the chances of breeding them are less even if you cool them down separetly ??

  • I persoanlly don't think so. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • The perfect amount of kids is 0. Who needs the snot infested germ bags.

  • Haha, that's pretty funny:) Brian(Sbtv)

  • As for Kel's question, I will stick to my lizards and snakes, because after seeing what my friend has gone through, I don't know if it's worth it.

I missed the worst bite question. It was from a 2 year old Black Throat Monitor named Lizzie Bordon. I found out real quick why you don't hand feed Monitors.

  • That sounds like it hurt for sure. Cool name for th monitor:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • naww im kidding i think 2 is enough but i have none lol

  • lol don't you just love George? xD

my favorite one was Blood Python lolol.

My answer to Kels Q of the week.

In my opinion, one, if any, but no more than three. With economy these days you cant afford to be buying diapers every other day or doctor visits. If you loose your job what will become of your family? For me, I'll stick to horses, snakes and lizards for now :P

  • I agree you have to love George:) And I think you're right about the kids too:) Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Geat episode, short and useful.

Some were easy to answer, others were a bit more complicate. You should do more of these.

The perfect number is the amount you can take care and love. No matter they are from you or adopted.

To answer last week question, my worst bite was from a Mexican Black Kingsnake who haven't eat for weeks and decided to chew on my finger.

  • Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. We'll try to keep it up. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • Kids I have- 0 (darn)

    Perfect number- 2 or 3

  • I have two and it's perfect in my opinion. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)

  • If you count the non-human kids as well...I have eight! We love your videos and the fun way you educate people.

My daughter (autistic one) loves the way our two pythons' skin feels... : )

  • Thanks, we really appreciaet the support! Brian(Sbtv)

  • I am a christian, so the perfect amount of kids is how ever many God gave you (and you can take care of).

    Kids I have - 0

    Kids I want - 5

  • Wow, five. That's a lot. But I agree with you on everything else:) Brian(Sbtv)

  • Octo Mom needs help and her kids need a new mom....my worst bite (snake-wise) was from a garter (garden?) snake...i knew better, but, on a dare, i picked it up in the middle and it turned on me and bit me on the top of my thumb....blood fountain! had a tetanus shot the next day....oh, yeah, and it hurt.

  • Sounds like it did hurt. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)
