But why the fuck can't there be Just Metal, Rock, Grunge, Alt., etc? I went to the Alice in Chains wikipedia page and it said they were "Alternative metal, grunge, alternative rock, heavy metal". WTF really? Is there that much of a difference?

Because sometimes bands innovate and make a new sound, so a new genre is born. ie: Neurosis inspired ISIS and post-metal was born. Personally i prefer all the sub genres to just generalizations.

I don not like rapping too much but there are a few times i do like it.

@GrantNP The piano is in the corner the entire time, most notably at 2:42 when they march right past it (reminds me of the basketball passing video where no one notices the bear walking by).

You can then actually see them in the mirror moving it from the corner at 3:54 - they got it in place and on top of it quite quickly. This probably took dozens of takes, as it's one long continuous shot.
