Without wishing to incur the wrath of all you overly precious Cocteauphiles, I've long thought that the line starting at 1:01 sounds like "You can sit on my face"! This for me although obviously their most accessible album up to this point, is also their best. There's just something about it that induces a beautiful kind of melancholia, in a similar way to Durutti Column (an even more shamefully overlooked band). Btw, This woman is one of the very few singers in "pop" music who can truly sing.

Cocteau Twins was one of the best bands from the 1980s-1990s in my opinion. I got into them back in the 1980s when you could only find their recordings as import albums and 12 singles and before few folks had ever heard of them. Man,. was I lucky to have discovered such a fab band.

This is one of their greatest songs ever. I remember hearing how Robin Guthrie locked himself in the studio on a binge mixing this album. This could've been the album to break their backs, and one of THE best CT albums in my opinion. I wish they'd come back. Hearing Robin's solo work isn't the same and misses the dynamic. There will never be another like them for sure.
