  • Aaron's talking about the Christian God. "Allah" is used as the word for "God" in this context.

Although, I personally believe that God shouldn't be called "Allah", but i understand.

  • I thought he was saying "A law, a law, a law"

  • İslamic god, christian god hahahahahahah :)

  • God said hello my name is God...right? or he said hello everybody my name is Allah? you children really believe this? and this song is Allah Allah Allah

  • the christian God and the islamic God cannot be the same God since christians believe that Jesus is God where as muslims believe he was only a messenger

  • its actually titled allah, allah, allah but still the same thing.

  • its allah allah allah

  • Such a beautiful song about how he see's God everywhere and in everything. We live on such a beautiful creation. I can't wait to see the creator!

  • "I don't have anything to trust in my life except for God."

  • great video thanks for uploading !!!

  • praise allah!!!!

  • Wow he's playing the guitar, the sumbol and a bass drum ANd singing at the same time. I can barly play guitar and sing a the same time lol

  • Arron and his brother Mike were raised in a Sufi household (mother was Christian, father Jewish... converted to Sufism) and then they both came to know Christ later in life. So there are a lot of references to the mystical Islamic beliefs of Sufism. There are far more references to Christ in their lyrics than any Islamic ones. I have studied Sufism and it's neither excepted traditionally by either Islam or Christianity, but some believe could be the bridge from Islam to Christianity.

  • @worshiptheLip most spirutual band I know, my favourite, so much emotion

  • @worshiptheLip it is a islamic sect and is excepted in islam.

  • its like allah dammit

  • Keep it up Aaron!!!

  • Woah When they say allah they mean God

Is that a big Problem? NO!!!! New mwy is so freaking awsome

  • Allah is just Arabic for God. In either language is it is simply a title that does not refer to any specific religion.

  • exactly :) im an arab muslim and i have arab christian friends who say allah when they talk about god/jesus. everyone's welcome to use it whatever language/religion :)

  • allah means god in arabic

allah does not mean a seperate god, or a different god...

    this country is so brainwashed

  • @jmcman32 Except for the fact that the Muslim god is referred to as "allah." Allah, happens to be a very different deity then the Christian Trinity.

  • @jmcman32 Everyone is brainwashed. This statement is even brainwash. Will someone stop all the propaganda.

  • @jmcman32 BUT! allah is not the "christian" faith God

    those are two different God's!

  • @thelostprologue Aaron's father was muslim. his mother was jewish. so he has arabic roots. allah simply means "god" in arabic. of course, when muslims say allah they don't mean the God of the bible, but they're still simply saying "god" in their native language. so Aaron saying allah in a song is nothing more than him saying god in a language that he is familiar with. which he is, seeing as he has arabic phrases in other songs.

  • @thelostprologue Thats not true, these two words refer to the same One

  • @mujosmc no it's true, any muslim would say it's not the same, and any christian would say it's not the same.

  • @thelostprologue maybe muslim and christian fundamentalists would say so, but distinction is in different languages only. (english: God; arabic: Allah; bosnian: Bog; german: Gott; french: Dieu, etc.)

  • @mujosmc you just changed your argument. now you're saying the translation of the word God is the same. and you're correct. but you clearly stated "these two words refer to the same one" when they don't. and you said yourself " maybe muslim and christian fundamentalists would say so" so you must agree with me that allah never had a son named jesus, and the christian God isn't allah. learn to argue.

  • @thelostprologue Christians believe that God has a son, muslims dont. I am muslim so I believe that Jesus is a prophet, not a Gods son. Btw, do you know that there are many arab christians in Egypt, Siria, and how do they call their Lord?

  • @mujosmc you are so dumb!! THAT'S MY POINT!!!

  • @thelostprologue you kno, you can say to wiseman (:P) that he s fool, he will just lough, but if you say that to real idiot, he will attack you...

  • @mujosmc it's a good thing i can spell, so i must be wise.

  • grog shop this july!

  • i was at that show! haha i was right up in front of him so you mustve been right next to me when you filmed this lol

    what a coincidence

  • It's Allah, Allah, Allah!... Why Allah?.. hahaha, if i didn't know mwY, i would think they were muslim after this album. hahahaha..

  • hahahahaha there God is "allah"

    LOL

  • How ignorant can you all be? Allah is the word for God in many different Abrahamic faiths besides the Islamic religion. Read a book, man.

  • how ignorant can you be..?..

We live in america, Allah is Arabic, We are american.. It's a little odd to use Allah.

I know Aaron is meaning God, but, im just saying, ppl who dont know that, is going to think he's muslim and not listen to MwY

  • What does being "american" have to do with the Arabic language?...are you implying english is the only language of ALL MIGHTY AMERICA?

  • Yes. English the native American language...

no matter what you ppl want to change it too... it is, and always will be, English..

  • ok.

  • The native American language...wouldn't that be something like Cherokee?

  • yah agreed haha.

but i think we can stop arguing.

God doesnt have a first language.

  • fool, you can speak whatever language you wan in ANY country. so stop restricting people from doing that.

  • @moggieman10 yes.

  • mwY has been using a lot of Arabic in there lyrics for a few albums now. It's a creative chose and, frankly, one I admire and enjoy.

  • I agree =]

  • Well, there's a song on the album that's specifically and openly about Jesus.

  • and c, that is all

  • Aaron often has God spelled as G-d in his lyricbooks.

The chords for this song are G-d

  • I love this!

  • and i thought singing and playing guitar was hard!

  • can anyone make out the chords?

  • guitar

    drum,

    voice lol

    talent

  • its all crazy, its all a false, its all a dream, its alright

    Release Date: 4/7/09

  • actually, the release day is May 19, 2009

  • I believe this song is actually called "Every Blade of Grass"

  • in the video he says that it is called God, God, God. i dont know if that is the final song title for the new cd or not.

  • There's one on the CD called "Allah Allah Allah." Given the guy's sufi parents, it's probably this song. It's also a very "last song on the CD" kind of song, and it is the last song on the album.

  • seeing as how "Allah" means "G-d" and he said the song is called "G-d, G-d, G-d" i'd say yes this is that song.

  • @TASTEOFOIL

    it's Allah Allah Allah

  • i love his new stuff i hope the put it out there (cd wise that is)

  • Im pretty sure they will

  • hahah, freebird.

it's so funny seeing him play that bass drum and the cymbal and guitar and sing. sweet aaron. =]

  • so... why aren't they using ricky?

  • he's doing four things at once

    so, so amazing

  • they played this in columbus last june.

i'm so glad i found this.

    i loved that song. :D

  • I wish they would have played something in Moscow! :)

  • HAHAHA did you here that guy yell freebird hahahaha

  • I really love this song. Aaron didn't say the name of the song and only spoke about twice at the show at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ. Did they close with this at this show?

  • I dig it. I wish they would have played this in Birmingham.
