  • wut is in the display case and re those clear shelled f-3 a a units the prot types to the lionel 2333 santa fe or were they a repro

  • what about the engine they dont try and take off when you turn on the lights?

  • very nice collection i collection mostly prewar and postwar trains sets from lionel i like seeing everyone eles trains

  • came back to check you wonderful collecton---wonder do u ever so often run the locomotives to keep the seals up? Or is that necessary?. Note also Lionel set I had mentioned, 2 mos ago is called Area 51 and came out in 08 and 09.

  • Recently I was at a hobby store and Lionel in May 2008 came out with a Train set for around 239.00 called The GROOM LAKE MINING COMPANY. Has two grey-colored flying saucers and related stuff---FYI.

  • Great collection!

Like how you have everything lit up.

Need much brighter light to bring out detail. (Put camcorder on Manual exposure.)

    Close up to show detail.

  • um, why are all the trains....including the engines...lit up? Did you morph those engines so that they would be constantly lit? If so, doesn't that sort of ruin there authenticity?

  • No. I haved some of the tracks powered just to light them up once in awhile. They don't power up when I turn on the lights to the room but only when I plug in the transformers powering the track. Thanks for looking at the video, I appreciate it.

  • Nice collection

  • hey do they ever run like to see them in action

  • Do you have a 700E???????

  • hello there charles, i too love trains and i am planning to start me a collection, i am going for the antique trains and even new ones, do u have any recommended sources with good deals and quality for these items? please leave me a message thanks

  • Train shows are fun and informative but unfortunately, I think your best deals are to be had on Ebay. Plenty of the same item to pick from and your better sellers will be selling quality to keep their feedback rating high. Thanks for looking at my video!

  • Hey where would the best place for me to get double decker cars for a cheap price?

  • to bad wouldve like to see more trains running.

  • Charles`s... Don`t listen to that one!

Your probably like me.... "If someones that hard up, they can have the damm thing`s"....

    "gese"

  • OH MY HEAVENS! This is fabulous!

  • Whoa! Nice Super-Chief

  • Com`on man !!! "More please" :) :) :)

  • I like the way they look! Blasphemy trains NEVER belong on the wall!

  • HAIL LIONEL PRE-WAR TIN TRAINS!!!

  • I got tire of disassymble the tracks, so I installed near the ceiling, free open space. Permanent layout enjoy for over 5 years and ongoing. check my video

  • you should be a train engineer

  • No - at 1:12 the set that is on top with the A-B-B-A Santa Fe is the # 21786 passenger set 200 that came out in 2000. I am going to put another video on in the near future where all the engines go thru their command sounds. Thanks for your question and looking at my video!

  • Are those the post war 50s-60s era Santa Fe streamliners at 1:12?

I have two A-A sets of those, very nice locomotives. They are so heavy they don't even need the MagneTraction!

  • OK... "I`m on a mission" :)

  • Ah` Charles...."I just had my wife to see this amazing room of yours"... She just stood silent and stared in disbelief... "help me work on Her will ya"?? Sooner or later I must do the same as you did. *Absol. Amazing!!

  • The first thing you have to do is get HER to thinking it is a good idea to collect trains (like money in the bank!) Tell her about the investment - no risk - guaranteed of getting every nickel back for what you paid - that trains surely are. (HA).

  • @ilovemthtrains Just found this site; anyway COSTCO has for sale two fully equipted HO train sets; one with a "locomotive" and the other disel (sp) each going for about $47---she liked the locomotive so I "got" that for her as one of her xmas presents! Nov 2010.

  • Charles... "first I want you to tell you wife I luv her"...(Mine would`nt let me go this far)... 2nd... Your collection is absol. beautiful! I REALLY ENJOYED !!! 10 stars!!!!!!!! **************

  • Thank You for your kind words!
