I heard that the Manga continued later than the ending of the Anime. Can somebody fill me in on what happens after (that occurs in the Manga)?

Actually, the anime differs in endings. the anime has onizuka going to the US or something (terrible ending). In the manga, he rescues the new evil principle from the school cuz its burning down. He was severely injured before and ended up dying rescuing her, but his love for his students brings him back to life (something like that). then they honor him in the school festival with a hilarious giant balloon. and he never leaves the school too.

Eh, the anime gave a quick ending that was less ambuguous. I prefered the anime, but that's me. I liked the idea of Onizuka leaving to a new school & teaching them instead of just staying in Japan.
