@nllleonard thanks so much Nancy! seems like I overlooked this comment! this was still a bit of my "rushing phase" and I hope I did overcome it... too fast! and it's still a tongue-twister for me... ;)
Hey man didn't realise we were competitors on this one....although completely different interpretations....I like this.....i'll now start watching your viewing figures
Sublime. Juxtaposes beautiful natural landscape & difficult emotional landscape. Chorus takes figurative leap: learning to drive = finding herself; not easy; curves of adolescence; & walking away best if got too deep. Song seems to say with perspective now, damn well not going to let the memories of a few pitiable people, character not yet fully formed, keep me from remembering the exceptional things. Achieves the paradox of being both intensely personal & universal. Nice job with it.
thanks a lot!! I think your giving an interesting interpretation, though mostly the artists work rather intuitively and might not know all the meanings their words can refer to. I should forward it to Michelle... ;o)
That was very nice! I love this folk style, the way you play and sing it Andreas is just great, honest and true, just straight from the heart. :)) Beautiful song, and I do love songs about nature and the rolling hills. lol They're great! I love the weird effects and color. that's right up my alley.lol ;)
yeah, thanks so much Rick!! I really love that piece too and trying to play it since 20 yrs, it's still a tongue-twister for me, lol! but's so cute lyrics anyhow... and the effects - haha, I found the vid was looking so stupid I had to "ruin" it with that jazzy filters, lol! and btw discovered that Michelle has her own channel on here (mshocked)!! thankyou for watching! :o)
hey Chris, thankyou!!! Michelle did some tricky pieces, her first release was taped with a little portable recorder, lol... this one is easier to play... ;o)
Terrific song!! Another new one for me. I remember driving along hwy 20 in East Texas many years ago. I have never since seen it rain so hard as it did that day. Great job!!
thanks alot for all, Daniela!!! this is from Michelle's debut album "Short Sharp Shocked" 1988, and I fell in love with it since I've heard it the first time... :) my goodness, the times are passing by too fast...
Thanks.....got the vid you sent.....gonna work on this one, myself in the near future.

If you would be kind enough to post the picking pattern for a proud Texas A&M Commerce grad you would forever be my hero.
