For the guitar/bass play, yes. But theres also a Mic and drums. Plus you can go online and form bands.

Wow, Gameinformer did a great job of exaggerating everything. They made it sound like the games guitar riffs were so easy that they were boring. Seeing it in action, yes, it's easier, but in a good way. Because of GI's comments, I wonder how many people decided not to buy this game because of that?

True, when they said easier, they meant there is no track that Satan wrote the note chart to. No Dragonforce or "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". But they are releasing "One" to download so it won't be too easy.

I don't understand why people try to compare these two games so much, i mean yes, they both follow the same principle but wtf, rock band plays with DRUMS, BASS GUITARS, VOCALS and a guitar also. I mean, people are basing this game way too much from the guitar perspective, i think this game is going to be so much fun, simply because of the drum kit.

I think it was announced yesterday that RB will come out on PS3/XB360 on Nov 23 and will cost $169. The PS2 version will be released in mid-December for $159. (Those prices are for the bundle that comes with ALL the peripherals, you can still get the game for $60~$90 if you just want a guitar/mic/drums.)

Think of this as the spiritual successor to the guitar hero franchise, also, it's 169.99 for the game, drums, mic and 1 guitar. SOunds like a bargain to me...
