the problem with nolan's batman movies in my opinion is that his batman on screen isnt mysterious or moody enough espiecially batmans scenes in the dark knight, so when he puts batman in a city thats shot in a real life city it's awkard and batman then becomes ridiculous. Also i'm not convinced of christian bale as batman, specially when he talks, just like i'm not convinced of hayden christiansen as an adult anakin skywalker. Basicily Joker makes the movie dark knight.

How did everyone feel about the fact that the Joker has makeup? which is far from the original in the comics. I had no problems, but others have. Just curious as to what everyone thinks about this change. Tho i have to say it's said and it looks like he has makeup but then again he was one crazy ass Joker and he never told the truth about himself. Btw i also enjoyed this movie a lot. The Oscar would be given to him for his acting not because his dead.

The movie is incredible! I would say the best superhero movie I have ever watched. Joker is amazing. When I watched it, I couldn't even sense Heath Ledger, which shows how amazing of an actor he really is. He was just Joker, one of the coolest villains. It's a shame he died though. There was an uncomfortable feeling as I watched his second-to-last performance.

When I left the movie theater, my legs were shaky. And I didn't even see it in IMAX (though I plan to Monday). It may go down a my all time favorite movie, and it is definitely my favorite superhero movie. They were right though, it was a different movie than Begins. Chris Nolan said he wants each of his Batman movies to have a feel of its own. Obviously the last one left off introducing the Joker, but this movie has a soul of its own. Abolutely incredible.

Yes, this movie was amazing. The only real gripe I have with it was the sonar crap. That was not really needed, imo but the rest of it was just awesome. It's true what others have said about Heath Ledger's performance. He does such a fantastic job in creating and becoming this character that you don't see Heath Ledger, you only see "The Joker".

I really liked the Dark Knight. I still have not seen Batman Begins, but the trailer made it look so amazing I couldn't resist. I enjoyed it a lot, although it's hard to tell if my feelings rely on Heath Ledger's performance; it was that good. I understand the difficulty of reviewing it without giving away spoilers because immediately after viewing it, I imagined everything I'd tell my friends. Weird thing is, I watched it between two screenings of Mamma Mia! What can I say; it was a movie day.
