it's uplifting to see farms not using industrial fertilizers and pesticides... though massive mono-crops are just as devastating to the environment as well. and the use of large factory equipment etc is energy intensive and pollutive - even with wind and solar power... which require the displacement of millions of metric tons of earth (using oil) to get at the precious few resources available to make such things as solar panels etc.

Yes, I wish more people, especially in rural places like India, would know the word "organic" and it's importance.
