Thank you for explaining why the database conversion implementation could be improved. I've learned something that will make me a better all around programmer already.
Thanks - I've checked out some of Dexter's stuff - pretty good, but eventually I had to just get a book - guess books are still useful - and I'm finally starting to understand some of this stuff.
I really don't know about Android yet, just trying to learn Java basics. I've been reading "Sam's teach yourself Java in 21 days" and "Osborne's the Complete Reference Java 2" (outdated, I know, but that's what the library had). Out of those two, I liked the Osborne book best. I also looked at "Core Java" at the bookstore and that seems pretty good too.
Vin Diesel - haha nice. Thanks for the vid - seems helpful (gave a 5), but I think I may be out of my league. When I downloaded this SDK I was thinking it'd be for-next loops and print statements... Apparently Java is an entirely different animal from C and Basic. Any videos you'd recommend for someone just starting with Java?
Hi jscook55- if you download eclipse and configure it with java, there are a lot of links in the help file. Also, on youtube, look up DexterCowly's stuff.
Hi, great video, helps a lot, I noticed that you have videos 1/16, 12 and 14/16. Is there a video 2/16 and some ones in the middle? :)
Thanks
