  • how long total of the track that???

  • Can your parents buy me one too?

  • I'm glad to know that Kessler is not a scam! LOL! Nice video! I'm gonna subscribe! And buy the crane too, for that matter... :)

  • Very good review guys. Keep up the good work.

  • Hey thats was a good review. Do you have other footages of it though? Like new ones please?

  • Do you get the track and dolly with this kit?

  • @posiedonpowertrio What do you mean by the kit? The jib and the track and dolly are two separate products made by two separate companies. We simply reviewed them together because it seemed logical.

If you're asking if both the track and dolly are included with the cobra crane purchase, then yes.

  • This was great; thanks!

  • Well done.

  • Very well done!

  • Don't take this wrong, but for the camera you have, you don't really need a crane/jib/dolly track, you should invest in a prosumer camera and then worry about this stuff. Thanks!

  • In the video they state that this jib can't be used with any standard tripods and heads. This is completely incorrect. You can mount this to basically any fluid video head that has a plate. I have mine mounted on a Manfrotto 501HDV and it works very well.

You DO need to have a good and beefy tripod and the tripod that comes with the package that Kessler sells is pretty decent.

But if you already have a decent fluid head and good beefy tripod, you should be good to go.

  • @wildnaturephoto Those 501HDV's are BEASTS! lol. Bought myself one not long ago. Good thing to point out.

  • What kind of video camera are you using?

  • @ALLblackninja1 For this, a pair of Canon HV30's.

  • Dude! What are you guys? You are all like.....professionals!!! Great review!

  • how much do they cost

  • @mattmax11 We've got the prices up on our website. Off the top of my head I think the full KC-Lite package costs close to $600 and the track and dolly system costs $450.

  • @filmtipsandtutorials great tutorials! Please keep them coming! I need a decent jib and dolly but something very portable!? Any suggestions? Everyone charges way too much for this crap considering it doesn't even come with a LCD monitor! Hundreds of dolloars for a plastic crane, some wheels and pipes!??? WTF! Not cool!

  • stabilty is always, a concern even with professional dollies, use of sand bag on the trypod for extra weight could help.. notice u didnt comment on unstillibiity of ground you put track on. Curious with plastic tubing is it possible to put wedges to even out track?

  • @kewldude90 The ground wasn't the flattest on earth - but it wasn't bumpy either. Yes, you could potentially put wedges underneath the track, but I'm not sure how well they would stay in place.

  • holy shit where do you get the money for this stuff?

  • @swetrich Read the comments first. We get sent this stuff.

  • Is the 10 lb counter weight included with the KC lite complete system?

  • @GraysunProductions No, which is a little bit of a pain. You need to purchase that separately. It does include smaller weights, though, so you can fine-tune your counterweight system.

  • Interesting products, I might want to look into purchasing one of them. I took a look at the written review and I noticed you used the same bit.ly link for both products... you might want to fix that.

  • @GraysunProductions Changed! Thanks for letting us know!

  • wat wat awesome vid topped off with my intro song. OH YEAH!

  • Nice Review! Thanks for sharing. It looked like it took 2 people to setup this rig up properly. Could you add some info on how long it took to setup and break down and with how many people. I think that factors into the 'ease of use/build'.

  • @Knoptop Yeah, it takes about 3 minutes for two people to set up the rig. Packing it down takes a shorter amount of time - but if you don't have the carrying case it takes much longer because you need to bind the rig with velcro to keep it compact.

  • That guy with the hat looks pretty awesome!!!!

  • @secretasianman27 If I didn't know any better I'd say that was you.

  • Sweet episode guys. I have that camera shirt . . . fun fact. I'll probably buy that dolly kit sometime soon.

  • where do you get the money?!

  • @neaped We're sponsored to review it, that's how.

  • @filmtipsandtutorials how do you guys contact these companies? email them? or like is there a specific part on their pages for reviewers or what?

  • @swetrich We've contacted them via email and negotiated. A well-written letter can go a long way.

  • Great review! I have also have the Davis & Sandford W3 Dolly and I can agree that it is very difficult to actually put it to use (by taking the legs out).

  • i want a shoutout could i pay you to give me a shoutout
