I'm a pretty decent drummer and I'd like to think I have learnt a lot over 11 years of drumming however I still learn new stuff from jared and cobus and many many more. Drumming can never be mastered and never will, all the travis barkers and mike portnoys out there are still learning as well. Trolls are just losers who have no life and hate theirs so they try to share their misery. Stop taking life so bad and serious and enjoy it. We only live an learn once right?!?
Hey Jered, thumbs up. One of the hardest things we have to deal with in life is negative comments from others and most are just from unhappy people who try to feel better by dising others. Well, I'm in a death metal/metalcore band and i wouldn't be able to do half the things I can if it wasn't for your videos, mainly the finger tech one.
i dont have a drumset that i can play on regularly, only when we have band practice, so i was wondering if you can give me any tips on ways to practice hand/feet chops, techniques or whatever withOUT a drumset

Your initial vids we ok and offered some good info and were at least helpful (especially considering you were one of the first decent you tube lesson style contributors)...but the recent stuff is top notch, keep up the great job...
We are all "brothers and sisters" of the drums. It is an awesome family that share many tastes, styles, and cultures. Just like any other family, we have those that are jealous of the others and the only way for them to feel better about themselves is to tear someone else down. Railroad Media on the other hand are a group who is trying to guide a small percentage into better drum playing. I for one will use any form of training to my benefit in becoming the best I can. I hate you and I wish you were dead! Sometimes I like to bash YouTube videos, but only if it's god awful and falls into the category of "what the hell is this?!" I never bash musicians, or usually give any negative feedback since I'm not the most experienced. Whatever little feedback I give, I usually phrase like "I think it would be pretty boss if you could..." Some of this will apply to me soon since I'm getting recording stuff this month haha, hope I don't get trolled too hard!
Hey Jared I've noticed how now you connect with the audience more and act more relaxed around the camera. Compared to your first videos, when you sounded like a robot (no offence ;) ) but i think your light hearted attitude to the lessons and videos like this will definitely attract more subs and followers. dude. this isn't my youtube account but i have to say jarod that you tought me sooooooooo much on the drums. i though i was really good. but i realized how much practice i needed. but because of the realization i STRIVED to get better. so pretty much don't ever let trolls get to you. without your videos i would not be as good as i am now :)
trolls are just horrible people, they attack new people because they see an easy target. you don't see a lot of hate on experienced people comparitively anyway, trolls = views whatever they say. and almost always positive comments outnumber negative ones. criticism is accepted, but never hatred.
Casey is sh*t, screw Evans Remo's are best! Dave Atkinson can't play drums hahaha I'm joking :P I dunno why people do that tbh, hopefully this video will change things a bit :) but in all seriousness, you gotta love Dave :D

@jaredfalk hey jared i think your drummings great, i was wanting to ask your advice on tom heads i was going to change to evans from remo but i have "grown up with remo" i see your using evans, but anyway would you have any recomendations ( i dont like coated tom heads btw but any info would be great :D

Jared will you just shut it and play the drum's already! just kidding, Just kidding, just kidding! I really like this video because I have seen many cover's on youtube and I have seen some pretty harsh comments. when I see something that i thank can use work in there drumming I will suggest things in the nicest way possible by saying stuff like, Hey can i suggest not putting your drum's at so much of an angle. and tell them why not to and they might like it, and to just give it a shot.
