What a dork!, "Don't argue with me about this subject" you need to read your dictionary dude. Didn't think there was anyone who didn't know about the different, and correct spellings. Both are in my dictionaries. Another one to upset you, 'color & colour.
@SamuliS Tires IDC were you live, If you were raised Spelling it Tyres thats wrong. Don't argue with me about this subject. Because if you spell "Fire" fire you should spell "Tire" tire. End of discussion
@14omega28ok You are correcting someone's spelling and you spelt "were" wrong. It's "where". Oxford dictionary spells it as tyres, not tires. Don't get me fyred up, hahaha!
Its just that I've the Haynes book on these things & the guy mentions how on track days he sees guys having to get out & push their car's backwards just cause they put in the bike setup but never bought the add-on fitting for reverse, tis all 8)
It is possible to fit a reverse but track cars do not normally fit them. Road legal ones can have a reverse box added between the normal bike engine box and the diff, or you can add a starter motor to provide a reverse. Not sure how they build that in though. Because of the way a bike engine gearbox works (sequential) its not just a simple exercise to add/engineer in a reverse gear although I have no doubt some clever sod has managed it!
hmm I wonder if paddle shifters is a option? Or maybe a carbon fiber hardtop pretty awesome track car already. I like that sequential gearbox of yours, it's quite a fitting choice for the hayabusa engine. I heard Hartley offers a twin graphed v8 hayabusa engine, have you thought of putting that in the engine bay?
Well held though, I dont claim to own one but have driven one and its amazing. I'd think about raising the gear shift a bit to reduce the distance from the wheel, if you're going to race alot.
Seems to go well but handles like a bucket of shit!!

Its tyres and bonnet and boot in Europe, and tire hood and trunk in America.
Goto a US store and ask for a "rubber" and you will get a condom, goto England and you will get a large rubber eraser for pencil lead.
We have 1simi trucks in the US, and over there they have the Lorry.
Dont show your ignorance of other cultures, there are differences between American English and British English.

@SamuliS That's because that car weighs virtually nothing.

I'm sure it does. Why wouldn't there be a reverse gear? Seems nonsensical for them not to add one.
sanderjames 2 years ago
@sanderjames
I totally agree, nonsensical.

i agree but the gearbox would have to be heavily modified
im not sure how it would even be done actually

i love how much he has to counter steer on the corners so the back doesn't drift out to much
the most fun in the world
i bet the Ferrari and mr2 (i think) he overtook don't get to do that as much as the megabusa

rear wing? might help with the oversteer.
