First of all I'd like to say, his lips looks so kissable at the beginning...

Second, I love how they went down a troubled boy route where Draco is pressured by those around him to be on the 'dark side'. Plus if he does refuse to Voldy's dirty work, he'd get himself/his family killed.

The idea was to make us feel sorry for Draco in the end, it succeeded.

The depth of the storyline & the fact that all the characters have their own back story of why they are who they are is genius.

It amazes me how 97% of people see things in black and white, with no grey shades between. You either love someone or hate him, therefore he is either entirely right or entirely wrong. You choose sides, and whoever you developed a liking for first, you have to hate whoever opposes him. In fiction, as in life, there are different sides to every story, each person has his own viewpoint and reasons for doing what he does, and it IS possible to understand and sympathise with both of them.

I absolutely agree with you, people that are on Harry's "Team" always see the bad in Draco, therefore they will hate him, and the people on Draco's "Team" well maybe they can see the good side in Harry but most don't. And Draco is not the misunderstood sweeatheart as you mentioned him. Severus Snape has that "role".

Draco is just a person who always stand at the side which he thinks that is the best for him in the minute, and after the things change he just jump to another without knowing friendship, honor or even the bravery.
