Can you imagine that I discovered his music on Friday, ...and he died Sunday!?
Last year I bought a book from a historian author(Tony Judt) that I had just saw on YouTube,...the guy died the same day. I really hope David Gilmour is not planing a "great gig in the sky" anytime soon, because this is getting ridiculous!
How did they manage to convince all those guys to do cameo spots....cameo dots? Great to see some older French and Saunders on Youtube - many thanks Monsterjumper,,,
Hey there! Does anyone know if this skit is on any of the six DVDs BBC is selling as a complete 'French & Saunders Collection'? I purchased the set specifically for this segment and haven't found it yet!
I saw this years ago when it was aired late nights in Singapore. I was really excited about all the musicians that appeared on this episode, especially when Mark King gave his appearance :) Brilliant britcoms.
I met him back in 1994 - brought Ralf and my USA agent together for some music bizz stuff. Nice bloke. Very good Live - if you get the chance to see him, it´s well worth the trip.
( and it's "behind" bars too like poor Ralph ;-) )
Not all these chord and tab books are of the same high quality - many errors and omissions - so you are even more confused about what to play after trying to decipher them.
the guy in the tux is one half of a comedy double act called raw sex the other member is roland riveron who was the man calling in all the witnesses hope this helps
Yes, I have long been planning to sue him for many sore fingers over the years while trying to learn his stuff - usually ending up in depressing defeats ;-)
He should count himself very lucky that he is not an American *LOL*
That was great, thanks! It's odd, cause they're ALL my all time favourite musicians (apart from Lemmy). If Clapton was there it'd be even better, but all the greats are there - Ralph McTell, Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Gary Moore, Mark King...
still funny as fuk after all these years. R I P Gary.

Thanks for posting, brilliant.
The way I remembered it, McTell says at the end, "its a fair cop!" maybe there was a pay-off at the end of the show, does anyone remember?
Doesn't Mctell also struggle to play his own song as well?

Very to the point.
A society that made itself so complex, they find a song of Mc Tell or Knopfler , oooh!!! ei big danger!
Idiots rule. Better Stop themselves.
I am sick of being positive ,it -on top- only arises their agression!
You gotta be a bad modafukka that they like ,that they feel ...
So let them cool down alone.
