  • 33:10 I must make a correction: Paul is wrong. It does not matter how many times the beam goes across, it is the synchronization-that is what the trigger is for. It goes up and down 2 million times a second, but not across. You could have it trigger once a second with the beam going that fast, but it does not have to go that many times. The beam is easily moved that fast, but it is not going that many times a second. If you have a good oscilloscope, try turning up the trigger holdoff. that helps

  • Chris, to get your head around how fast the line is actually drawn, think of the sine wave as a carrier, then think of a modulation on that carrier, if it was speech or music, you would want it to display in real time

    Maybe Paul could demonstrate a carrier and modulation in this series.
