  • Like it cus yuu didnt seem nieve. You lnow what you are talking about.

  • Guess what I use to jump rope when I was a kid and this girl use to help me it was young love I guess lol I got one off ebay and I still remember how to do it I was shocked but when you got it you got it )

  • I just bought a basic skipping rope of rucanor. But mine isnt heavy and is about 3 meters. it freakin annoys me...

  • I buened through two defective Everlast speed ropes. My sister gave me a brass-handled leather rope and it's fantastic. I do ten minutes (2, 2, 1 and then repeat after a minute's break - all jumping punctuated with timed stuff like burpies, hill climbers, jumping jacks, knee-ups, shadow boxing). The Everlast 6-werk boot camp rocks. I'm on it 8 months ;)

  • *stares at her chest* excellent excellent~

  • so its perfectly normal for the rope to hit/touch the floor? I've had this impression that the rope must never touch the ground

  • @Tenkuuken You are correct. Visually makes perfect sense but for receptive clarification of rotations we chose to do what’s normal be-it the basics. I found over the years, most of the time you get use to the light skip of the rope that creates a rhythmic beat that causes you to either speed up or slow down. But it all boils down to “keeping rotations and not stumbling.” Thanks for tuning in….

  • @ptboxing Thank you for your reply, I've considered the skip rope for weight loss but that childhood experience of sucking at it due to the rope touching the ground but I feel more confident now to try the jump rope

  • i dont have the time to go to the gym or the space in my house or the neighboorhood to do my cardio in the morning so i bought a 5$ skip rope to do the job. Thanks guys for the tutorial rly helped.LIKE!

  • Are we supposed to jump continuously, non stop for 10 minutes or are breaks acceptable?

  • @ayenab7 Great question but it’s complex do to the fact everyone reading this will be at varied fitness levels. Skip rope for three rounds (2 minutes per round) but will have the opportunity to get a breatherand/or water during the 30-second rest. Skip until your calfs burn and/or physically tired. As you’ll eventually gain the rhythm required to sustain the rotations it’ll become less of a cardio workout. Thanks for asking and as always, “Keep punch’n.”

  • @ayenab7 its only 10 minutes f skipping why would you need a break

  • she is hot

  • she's DOPE!

  • Surprised by all these comments, i thought everyone knew how to skip rope haha, it was theee requirement for passing gym in grade 3 for me. never forgot since.

  • you need to have a shorter rope if you become faster

  • thanks for the tip on measuring the rope size.

  • Thank you for this Video I jump rope everyday and it works !!!!

  • thanks for this video... :)

  • I am curious does her back foot hit the ground or does she jump the whole time on the fronts of her feet?

  • Skipping rope is a skill, first thing you must remember is it takes time to learn and practise , practise practise, it wont happen overnight..

  • I CAN NEVER SKIP ROPE :'( FMl!

  • I have been looking for an hour on YouTuble to find out whether or not the rope I just bought was too short for me. Dude answered my question, saying that the rope should come about up to my armpits when I stand on it; I keep getting hit in the back of the head every 10 or so passes. I'm pretty sure I just suck, as I started only today. I'm going to go find out now. But if any of you experienced people know what I might be doing wrong, please share. I want to get decent at it. Thanks.

  • @44rumblefish If you make sure to keep your elbows into your sides and just rotate your wrists rather than your entire arm, you should be good. When you stretch your arms out, it shortens the rope. Also, you must keep momentum going. If you rotate the rope too slowly, it will hot your head.

  • @ptboxing

Thank you for responding. I will do as you suggested. By the way, I checked the length of my jump rope and it was the perfect length for me. So it is my form not the rope. Thanks again for your help.

    Dan

  • @44rumblefish dude u shud go boxing its much better and you will learn quicker thats how i learned now im jus sikk at it!

  • @badboykilla89Two Dude, good advise. I've actually been boxing and doing mma since I was a kid. I now teach mma, so your advise was right on. Since I posted this, I learnerned that my rope was too light! So I threw it away and started doing drills with resistance bands along with my bag training. 2 two hour work outs a day; I lost 17 pounds and got my 6 pack back! 5 five minute rounds on the bag. 1 25 minute session with the bands, 6 days a week. Weights every other day.

    Peace.

  • i like the fact that he choose a girl to do the jumping

  • lol i cnt skipo savemy life haha

  • he means like making the rope go round is with ur wrists. i think

  • skipping is a great way to burn calories, and its so cheap yet efective and easy, i reccomend doing this work out for 20-30 min every day, 20min=burning approx 250 calories ;) keep skipping

  • I rope for 30-60 min everyday using my wrists and i feel fine. Maybe you need some practice or a good coach. Oh maybe thats why your looking for instructional videos. Get a clue and learn something.

  • if she was my gym partner...ill never gonna miss a session..PROMISE!! ^^

  • straight up bro..me too! :D

  • its the best
