To everyone that says that he made so many mistakes or that Yong Hwa is better, you should check Hong Ki's new version, in this one he was only a kid I think it was 2007 when they did this program he was only 17 or 18, now he did it in San Francisco and you can't compare the two. He has grown musicaly so much. He is 100 times better even LJB the original singer is there with him and praised him for his performance. He will give you goosebump this was just practice.

hongki sounds "unique" here because he's copying how im jae bum originally sang this song. if you listen to hongki's ft island songs you'll see that he doesn't put in some of those adlibs or use that low of a register. it sounds uncontrolled compared to seunggi's because he's not in his voice element. hopefully next time hongki covers something he'll use his own singing voice (although this was recorded way back when)
