BTW a timing belt does not always result in severe damage ,variable factors like at what point of the stroke the belt broke and what valves are closed determines this ,some manufacturers even allow clearance so so that if it breaks there will be minimal damage.
I never heard of a thermal detanator and i've worked with computers all my life. Interestingly enough he's spot on with theb palnned obselence. I know this for a fact as I used to service PLC driven machinery and it came to my attention that subroutines had been added to cause the machine to break down at specific cycle count. I also have a super 8 which works perfectly.
I agree with you my Aunt has a 1950's Frigidaire refrigerator at her cottage back when Frigidare was made by General motors and she has never had one single issue with it and its been working non stop since it was new and I know someone that has a 2008 Frigidaire and its a piece of garbage they had to replace the compressor 3 times and a bunch of other stuff on it old products last most new stuff is garbage.
im familiar with nemesis work. the idea behind planned obsolescence is just another tactic to remove as much money from circulation so there is never more money than available rescources. i think this applies mainly to food. it means that the masses never have the oppertunity to eat to the point where the earths fertile soil is over used and made infertile. this explains poverty, famine and global economic turmoil. humanity would happily suck on natures tits until the tits collapsed and withered
gotta keep the hampsters spinning on the wheel, if things didn't break down, there'd be nothing for the hampsters to do. less production, less consumption, equals less jobs, there's nothing meaningful for the hampsters to do anymore, so you gotta keep them busy with meaningless activity, as opposed to sharing the wealth with the hampsters, that'd be a no no for the illuminati, everything must be earned according to them, well, except for the stuff they steal.
I just remembered my flat TV, which broke 3 DAYS before the warranty ran out! It just wouldnt switch on. I had luck and they repaired (or replaced?) it, but 3 days later and I would've been forced to buy a new one.
Wow... all I can say is wow. You are an uninformed nut-job. Were you alive 50 years ago? How about having to perform regular rather intensive service every 3-5000 miles rather than getting away from having to do anything with the motor of a Camry for 100,000 miles. You assign malice or aforethought were simple incompetence or cost control can easily explain. As an engineer I find your arguments completely uncompelling.
@gerthdynn You're grasping at comprehension, gerth! Camry drivers are stuck with rubber timing belts and plastic pistons; I wonder why the Colosseum has not crumbled, pray tell? The little papers of notes causing illusion of power upon the citizens are so intrinsic they can't allow us to manufacture the possible efficient of anything, perhaps escaping the conditioning will able the peon being of yours to shift.
yes so true and i have a desktop and it is 3 year mark and i am haveing problems .disabled will not be able to even get a little note book.i know this is the only place i can get news before it hits t.v sometimes.anybody got a laptop thats working i'm in nedd if ya generous i'd be grateful to stay online awhile longer and be informed thanks guys.have agreat day while you pre pare.peace joy to all.while we can show it.
Great video! I have a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon because I liked the 100,000 mile warranty, however, this is how they get you. They put the timing belt under the engine and it's supposed to be replaced at 60,000 miles for $2500. It's so expensive because of the labor and literally removing the engine. If you don't replace it, then if the engine fails they will say it's not under warranty because the timing belt wasn't replaced. No more new cars for me! Waste of money! Great vid btw!
you have some good points dude, but the illiuminati thing is a little far fetched man.
i believe that planned obsolescence is a mere economical act to keep the markets going. bear in mind 60 years ago the competition was not as intense as it is nowadays, if for example every laptop manufacturer gets satisfied after selling one laptop knowing that he will not sell another one for many years to come, then whats the point man. something are meant to be broken after all.
There is a thermal detonator built into your spelling and grammar that's for certain! Seriously we have had computers that last over 3.5 years, and the idea of planned obsolescence is hardly new. How do you think the music industry has survived? Records, tapes, CD's & associated players last ages, but to keep the market new they make it untrendy not to buy certain artists, even if the new artists sound like the old ones. Hardly the illuminati, and it doesn't take a great brain to suss it!
Is this all true, if so it would explain why my 3 year old computer keeps going wrong all the time and it never used to break down like it does now. Might also explain why YouTube is going down the shitter too.
Indeed. I HATE planned obsolescence. I will now tell a true story. We got an old 1991 Pioneer projection TV for FREE. It worked but with a picture problem. Asked what the repair shop wanted and they said $400 to replace the whole circuit board. No, we weren't going for that. We searched online, found where someone had the exact problem and an answer with the solution. Replace a certain 10uF capacitor. One tiny part. Replaced it, (already had the part), and....FIXED. For FREE.
If you like this and really are interested in knowing the root cause of planned obsolescence and what would happen if everything were made to last, please check out THE ZEITGEIST MOVEMENT
You have Misspelled several words during the course of this video. IM not the best speller in the world either, but i would definatly use a spellchecker before i post something on you tube
"everyones laptop break after exactly 3.5 years", well, everyones except mine then. I had my first laptop in 2000 and it broke only in 2008, and I bought a second one in 2002 which it is still working (as of 2010).

Planned obsolescence (PO) is real, but illuminati part is utter bs.. dont misinform the public. Corporations do PO because they can and because it brings more profits from sheeple. Some people argue that use of PO stimulates economic growth and innovation. On our lives energies of course. Think about it and be frustrated if you do earn your living by the sweat of your brow. Also, wikipedia explains many different aspects and practices of PO.
Anyone know if there is anyway to stop this thing from going off in MY laptop which should be under MY complete control? Can I replace this circuit with one that won't break? If it's just a single circuit how hard could it be. Anyone have any advise?
No question that this is a collusion among all large corporations which are in fact run by the illuminati . I might discount it but when mustfarhan mentions that certain things like ATMs and banking machines always seem to work it makes sense.
Is this a conspiracy? Remember what out founding fathers said....conspiracies happen all the time.
When you comment here type in the word "illuminati" the spell check says you spelled it WRONG. But that is a LIE! Check it out.
One of the worst things is batteries. Thoe Li-Ion batteries, with the chips inside of them.
Here I have a laptop from 2004, with a battery that doesn't last 5 minutes, but has hardly seen any use.
So I popped it open, and hooked up a load to the battery, timed how long it took until the battery became depleted, and calculated the effective capacity. What do you know -- the battery still has about 70% of it's original capacity. BUT, the chip says otherwise.
I also happen to have a slightly older laptop, circa 2002 I believe, where the BIOS actually has an option which lets you manually recalibrate the chip inside the battery!
Notice most if not all laptops manufactured recently DO NOT have such an option.
@canaan1967 Yes but the corporations are usually a very big part of the illuminati. They all work together so you don't get what YOU pay for, THEY get what YOU pay for.
Cell phones use software for everything they do, especially today's models. You cannot state that they do not do so because that is simply not true. Also, saying that computers 'before the Internet' still work because they were software-driven doesn't make sense either. Computers have been software driven for many decades now, and today's computers are no different. Some interesting points in this video, but I want some proof of these 'thermal detonators.'

Apple is the largest planned obsolescence company today. They purposely make everything not have what the "next generation" product will.
