@guitarlvr54 always something.. still have rear shocks to mount, I want to put power brakes on this winter.. replace the oil pan gasket.. on and on it goes

Hey I just realized the hunnert car pilup is comin' right up. Guess I ain't going to make it this year either, but I'm closer to it than I was last year.. One of these days I'm going to do that thang... hahahahaha..
@rpeek hunnert is Oct 9.. I'll be there! I'm happy with my rat. It was a hard decision for me to rat that truck once I found out that old engine was good. but.. I would have spent 30 grand to restore it and I'd have a truck that goes 30 mph with mechanical brakes.. naaa.. I made the right decision! :) that thing is an absolute blast. as you well know.

'course I'd want an engine rebuild and some better tires and a top, and that trailer I'm thinkin' about building to haul spare tires and tools... It would be quite an adventure. On the other hand, I could drag it out on that car trailer too, or tow it with the Rambler. All sorts of things to think about...

Have you ever gone back and shown the progress of the ratrod to the person you bought the truck from???If it were me id be curious what happened to it..Just saying..Eitherway shes looking kickass!!
@CanuckPepperhead the guy lives in Oregon so, no.. not shown him.. but I phoned the young man when I got the motor to run.. he told me then he regretted selling it because since then, he had learned a lot about body work in a short amount of time. at the same time.. I learned a lot about rat rodding and I'm happy that I bought it in just the horrible condition it was in! :)
@Busia1949 I got some pictures of the rolling chassis the other day.. everything is switched over to the new frame.. the cab was back on as of yesterday and they fixed a little rust they found in one door.. he knew I'd want it done.. anyway.. the wreck was on the first of April, and I should get it home in time to park it for winter! oh well. save miles that way. haha.. of course there was only 1,000 miles on that engine anyway.. oh well.. life happens! :)
