  • That great German march Mollendorfer played so well by the guards. Its the best version I have heard. thanks for posting

  • OBSERVATION: When we see the Commies and Ruskies march in utter perfection, they are always on city streeets well marked with lane lines and such - these soldiers are marching in a puddle-potholed mudpie without any ground references to key on. And the music is unsurpassed. And, instead of representing tyranny and oppression, Trooping the Colour is a love affair between the armed forces and her most gracious Majesty, protector of Britain's liberty, heritage and tradition. God Save The Queen.

  • The precision of their marching notwithstanding, Her Majesty is well served, and I for one would not relish battle against men such as these.

  • The Micks are #1, God Bless Them.

    Quis Separabit

  • Windsorsoldiers, another splendid job, thanks for your efforts. The best slow march is of course "Let Erin Remember"!! :)

  • Why are people whinging about the fact the drill isn't perfect? A) That's what the review is about - practice first to get it right for the big day, and B) these are professional soldiers who fight for this country not toy soldiers who spend all their time poncing about on a parade ground. Give them a break you knobs.

  • Yes. Look at the Chilean Army. LOL. Wonderful drill. Top notch uniforms but they are still proud about their conquest over Peru over a 100 years ago.

  • @adamswampy well said mate

  • Remarkable - starting from 00:35 is J. Moellendorf's "Parademarsch Nr.1", from 1846, which initially was a slow review march of various German cavalry regiments.

  • Great Slow March! Pipes and Drums also played Prussian Glory. Is that ever played by the Massed Bands? Great to hear these Old German Marches, too long mired with Nazi associations. Very long ago I used to march to "Coburg" at RAFC, but only found out much later, lol!

  • a bit dodgy on the left form there!

  • Like to see you do better.

  • Been there, and done better...

  • Because of course, you, being one member of the team made all the difference.

  • Actually no, the team was a lot better.

  • Irish Guards were full of fresh recruits, give them a break.

  • British Military precision and excellence. Brilliant angles, well done.

  • This is fantastic!

    Very good position. :)

You hardly get a full look at them executing, "Left Form".

  • Funny how you still manage to get a shot of the drummers. :D

Looking forward to the march past in quick time.
