Tempo is the speed of the song. She actually has a wide range, if you listen to her sing live in studios. The reason it sounds like it does is because she's moving around so much. Let me tell you, it's quite difficult to sing while moving to that extent.

It's not how she sounds that makes it suck. It's the camera work and direction. The one who thinks cranking the zoom up and down is a neat effect should find a different line of work; the director who thinks they need to use a shot from all 6 or 7 cams 3x every min should be flayed w/remains set on a pike as warning to other directors: find a good shot and stick with it longer than 2 seconds. They're the same ones that zoom to the bass player or drummer when the guitar solo starts. Idiots.
