@dougdangger If you count all the bundled software on a Mac, the Mac isn't more expensive than the PC. PCs don't come bundled with cool, useful apps like in iLife and iWork. I mean, what do you get? Maybe a clock? Microsoft Wordpad? Also, the free anti-viruses out there for the PC are not really effective either. You're just playing with fire not buying yourself a good, reputable anti-virus for a Windows PC. Macs aren't more expensive if you consider what you get with one.

Windows OS can be installed on a mac because Microsoft is kind enough to let everyone to build their own PC, while Apple is greedy and only allow Mac OS to be installed on Mac computers. I actually have met people that think Mac OS can't be installed on PC because it can't handle it.
You can run Windows on a Mac and you cannot run a Mac on a PC legally, well the big thing about PC's is the right-click so Macs have less options than PC's
hackintosh is fun anyways. ;) and you can even do it with a legit copy of snow leopard, you just have to be very specific and careful with your hardware.

@steven4570 Yea, a new mac wont be much slower than a PC bought at the same time frame. Also with a mac it is a lot less likely to become slow, doesn't even need defragging. Also with a mac you can have the best of both worlds with Windows running on bootcamp. But I agree Macs are way expensive and sometimes a PC maybe the better option. But I would sacrifice some speed and screen size for a mac over a PC.

And I play all my games and watch my blu rays on my PS3 in HD 1080p on a 40inch TV and also more games on Nintendo DS, PSP and don't have to worry about upgrading and speeding loads on new graphics cards all the time.

@Mrtropcp lol, i just realized that, but she said that the there was only 1 MAC under 1000, but she was incorrect, yea mac mini is a waste XD it's not for general home use though, if you have a screen and keyboard, i guess that it can work. The shittiest and best mac are BYOB devices. Mac Mini and Mac Pro.

Yeah Mac's cost more. But. My brother and my mom both got hp laptops at the same time when I got my MacBook. There's have started already to go to shit. with broken fans, keyboards, bad screen hitch, and so on. Mine's still holding strong, with out a single problem yet. Mac's may be the same power for a bigger price. But at least the quality is much nicer. You get what you pay for. Prove me wrong bitch.

Windows OS can be installed on a mac because Microsoft is kind enough to let everyone to build their own PC, while Apple is greedy and only allow Mac OS to be installed on Mac computers. I actually have met people that think Mac OS can't be installed on PC because it can't handle it.

You can run Windows on a Mac and you cannot run a Mac on a PC legally, well the big thing about PC's is the right-click so Macs have less options than PC's

This is Lauren 2 months later.... her laptop doesnt work at all .. screen is freezing all the time.. keyboard is craked... and sadly she went to get her laptop repaired . so she has no computer for one or two months... is not cool to be a mac person but is worst to be a pc person. at least us mac we pay for what is worthed ..

I didn't actually state that I have a mac or pc. In actual fact I own and use both. The video showed a girl who was buying a laptop based on how comfortable the keyboard is and the size of the screen. Nothing to do with performance stats or reliability which means she doesn't seem to be the type to want or even know how to modify or upgrade her laptop. You Get What You Pay For and I don't think $700 dollars is going to get you a very well equipped or built computer, be it a mac or pc.

Lol. Have you used Win 7 yet? I have. Also used Leopard. Yes, yes, I know about the copying thing MS did with the Mac OS. Point is, I run Win 7 all the time. Had my computer for a year, and 7 since it was released. Not one issue yet. And yeah, my PC can run circles around a Mac of the same price tag, and even some of double that. Price $700 + tax. Go on, try to get as much as I have, in a Mac, for that price. Can't. Be. Done.

@steven4570 Yea, a new mac wont be much slower than a PC bought at the same time frame. Also with a mac it is a lot less likely to become slow, doesn't even need defragging. Also with a mac you can have the best of both worlds with Windows running on bootcamp. But I agree Macs are way expensive and sometimes a PC maybe the better option. But I would sacrifice some speed and screen size for a mac over a PC.

@BigdogWitBigdog I do all my work and internet surfing on my reliable MBP without worrying about defrag, spyware, antivirus ware etc.
And I play all my games and watch my blu rays on my PS3 in HD 1080p on a 40inch TV and also more games on Nintendo DS, PSP and don't have to worry about upgrading and speeding loads on new graphics cards all the time.
