@ProfOfPimpology Not that it matters, mostly rock. I live an hour north of Philadelphia so I grew up listening to MMR and YSP's formats. We have a local rock station but they mostly suck. I can and do listen to anything good. Almost every band "almost" has a few good songs. To answer your question Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, but I also enjoy some stuff from KOL, Seether , Shinedown. Some what sorry to have offended your infatuation with queens. But my opinion stands and will be proven.

as far as QOTSA, they rock pretty well.. grohl is a wicked ass drum man, that's all he should ever do. FF are still straight though. I wouldn't say thier songs are easy by any stretch at all. They are a little basic and simple as far as the structure for the most part, but they're intricate with riffing. Now NIN songs, they're simple while still balls out.

i disagree. there are some bands that play it slow and easy but have feeling. qotsa has bloody easy songs to play, so do the deftones, the hives, the vines, the artctic monkeys, foo fighters... the list goes on and on. but they play it with feeling and it sounds bloody good.
