Great vid & sounding bike. It looks as though all the travel in the forks had been used up,leaving all the energy to be absorbed through the front tyre, thus causing it to bonce and wash away, I've worked with Colin at 100% suspension to set my bikes up,, best £40 I've spent in a long time,, I'm no expert but this happened to me once!!!
Nope, forks have travel its the throttle blipping thats upsetting the chassis. Probably on and off the brakes at the same time as well trying to blip it.
Grabbing 1st gear may have been a mistake (he says wisely after the event). Never mind mate, it's a cracking video anyway. If I'd have been watching that without the data I'd have been wondering how you could have come off while on the brakes upright and in a straight line. That final peaking of the revs gives it away. There but for the grace of God etc... Hope you and the bike are okay. Got to do Anglesey in 2011.
10th of October at Anglesey, £99, booking mine end of the week, did Ron Haslam at Silverstone few weeks ago and i've got the bug! lol. quality video by the way hope you ok, what group were you in?
@keljon123....love'in the comment...and your id whats up can't you count past 3..ha ha (prick)..he turned in on the brakes and it just tucked...nice vid and great bit of kit i shall look at one of those....
It's a brilliant bit of kit - but the 'full' version is a box that won't fit in the underseat space on my '06 RSVR - I have a modified pillion seat that I fix it to. My mates 929 blade has enough underseat space for it to fit so it is worth considering how much space you have. Racelogic now make a smaller version the 'Video VBOX lite' which also costs less.
It's very interesting to analyse the data that is captured - laps that I thought were slow turn out to be fast and vice versa... I'm just having fun but if you're serious about getting faster I'd highly recommend it.
It's fantastic! Very smooth and grippy probably the best tarmac I've ever ridden... you can lean for days, I wore through a left slider and boot, before I fell off. Really picturesque and a very friendly paddock, the only downside is it's a bit of a trek to get there and it can be windy. Highly recommended.
Fantastic video quality and layout, loving it till the tarmac surfing..glad you're OK. great lesson, as we are due in Anglesea in Aug - hopefully your pain is our gain!
Hard to say for sure but I was hard on the brakes, probably shouldn't have grabbed first gear and the suspension was fully compressed so there wasn't a lot of leeway...
@driverchri5 well that wasn't as bad as my buddies crash i posted up on ur video...his throttle got stuck wide open..and having a super sport motor engine...cutting the killswitch or pulling the clutch isn't an option on a $10k motor
Hi Glad to see you were ok. Can I ask where you got the circuit layout for the vbox as I have one and havent found it yet. Also do you have them for the other track configurations. David

How do you like the Video Vbox, I'm considering buying one for my motorcycle. Do you feel it helped you improve and how's the track mapping? Thanks
