Call me crazy, but after watching this cartoon up to this point and watching other 90's cartoons as well, the voices seem to match the characters in some way. I don't know how to explain this very well, but it looks like back then the voices seem to fit. I think we are used to the voices the characters had in the later MK games that looking back at this, the voices don't seem at all fitting. It's kind of like realizing that this show is cheesy now, but it was great back then. I've tried my best.

@jason60152 It's been years since I've played a MK game. I remember playing the third one a lot before and the MK vs DC once. The other characters I've played with, who come in just below the other two, were Sonya and Kano. Kano was one of my favorites, mostly for that cannon ball move. That and he was pretty tough. I've always used him on the harder bosses :p
@MichelleOfDarkness Scorpion and Sub-Zero are my favorites too but my 3rd and 4th favorite are Smoke and Noob Saibot.Noob Saibot is badass on Mortal Kombat 9.
I can agree with you that MK Annihilation sucked but what I thought was interesting is the introduction of the characters in live action although I hate that they killed all the Ninjas but I guess having too many characters and switching actors really pissed people off hmm I hope the MK Legacy doesn't disappoint me
@CASHMONEY138 1st: for who's not a great fan of the series it just has lots of nonsensical chars. It is a RULE in movie narration to present the characters before they begin action. In the 1st mk in fact, Scorpion and Sub-Zero while not having a true story appeared at the beginning ad you wait the whole movie to see them fight. 2nd: it took things from the games that weren't needed to a nice story, like the Animalities or secondary chars like Smoke. 3rd: bad special effects at some points.
@CASHMONEY138 4th: it changed important plot elements for no reason: Shinnok the father of Raiden and Shao Kahn? Nonsense! The first changed something, as Kitana isn't in the first game, but it was to have a nice story. So while fans can enjoy the movie at certain points (I love the fight with Cyrax 4 example) it isn't a very good movie for them, while is absolutely horrible for the others.
6:45, Kano's legs should have been behind Sonya's not infront of them. Thats just bad placements even for the effects in 1996. Not even the worst animator would do that, what happened?
So thats why there's only 3 Pyramids ...
