I wonder if Randy would have been very successful as a cop in New Jersey. And I had some trouble with the part of the finale where Monk met the daughter of Trudi and the judge, who had killed her and years later killed himself. Either the girl did not know about the background of her life or she seemed to be taking it all very calmly. Maybe the weakest part of the resolution to the whole series.

All those crazy problems he had, there wouldnt be a chance they could risk him being injured or injuring someone else because of his OCD.

And as for them letting him go back to work, which they did in the last series, would be absolutely insane to think they would do that. Not a hope in hell they would do that.

But its not real life, its tv. And Disher being so dumb (but still ok at his job) was a good hook
